DRB ²⁰ Quand ton fils t'interrogera à l'avenir, disant : Que sont les témoignages, et les statuts et les ordonnances que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, vous a commandés ?

KJV ²⁰ And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?

WLC ²⁰ כִּֽי־ יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ בִנְךָ֛ מָחָ֖ר לֵאמֹ֑ר מָ֣ה הָעֵדֹ֗ת וְהַֽחֻקִּים֙ וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֛ה יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ אֶתְכֶֽם׃

DRB ²¹ alors tu diras à ton fils : Nous étions serviteurs du Pharaon en Égypte, et l'Éternel nous a fait sortir d'Égypte à main forte ;

KJV ²¹ Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

WLC ²¹ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ לְבִנְךָ֔ עֲבָדִ֛ים הָיִ֥ינוּ לְפַרְעֹ֖ה בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וַיּוֹצִיאֵ֧נוּ יְהוָ֛ה מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם בְּיָ֥ד חֲזָקָֽה׃

DRB ²² et l'Éternel a opéré, devant nos yeux, des signes et des prodiges, grands et accablants, sur l'Égypte, sur le Pharaon, et sur toute sa maison ;

KJV ²² And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

WLC ²² וַיִּתֵּ֣ן יְהוָ֡ה אוֹתֹ֣ת וּ֠מֹפְתִים גְּדֹלִ֨ים וְרָעִ֧ים ׀ בְּמִצְרַ֛יִם בְּפַרְעֹ֥ה וּבְכָל־ בֵּית֖וֹ לְעֵינֵֽינוּ׃

DRB ²³ et il nous a fait sortir de là, pour nous faire entrer dans le pays qu'il avait promis par serment à nos pères, pour nous le donner.

KJV ²³ And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

WLC ²³ וְאוֹתָ֖נוּ הוֹצִ֣יא מִשָּׁ֑ם לְמַ֙עַן֙ הָבִ֣יא אֹתָ֔נוּ לָ֤תֶת לָ֙נוּ֙ אֶת־ הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃

DRB ²⁴ Et l'Éternel nous a commandé de pratiquer tous ces statuts, de craindre l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour notre bien, toujours, pour nous conserver en vie, comme [il paraît] aujourd'hui.

KJV ²⁴ And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

WLC ²⁴ וַיְצַוֵּ֣נוּ יְהוָ֗ה לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ הַחֻקִּ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה לְיִרְאָ֖ה אֶת־ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לְט֥וֹב לָ֙נוּ֙ כָּל־ הַיָּמִ֔ים לְחַיֹּתֵ֖נוּ כְּהַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

DRB ²⁵ Et ce sera notre justice, que nous prenions garde à pratiquer tous ces commandements devant l'Éternel, notre Dieu, comme il nous l'a commandé.

KJV ²⁵ And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

WLC ²⁵ וּצְדָקָ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶה־ לָּ֑נוּ כִּֽי־ נִשְׁמֹ֨ר לַעֲשׂ֜וֹת אֶת־ כָּל־ הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֗את לִפְנֵ֛י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּֽנוּ׃
