BCC ⁵⁷ Le soir venu, vint un homme riche d'Arimathie, nommé Joseph, qui lui aussi était devenu disciple de Jésus.

KJV ⁵⁷ When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

BCC ⁵⁸ Il alla trouver Pilate pour demander le corps de Jésus ; Pilate alors ordonna qu'on le lui remit.

KJV ⁵⁸ He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

BCC ⁵⁹ Joseph prit le corps, l'enveloppa d'un linceul blanc,

KJV ⁵⁹ And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

BCC ⁶⁰ et le déposa dans son sépulcre neuf, qu'il avait fait tailler dans le roc ; puis, ayant roulé une grosse pierre à l'entrée du sépulcre, il s'en alla.

KJV ⁶⁰ And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

BCC ⁶¹ Or Marie la Magdaléenne et l'autre Marie étaient là, assises en face du tombeau.

KJV ⁶¹ And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

BCC ⁶² Le lendemain, qui était (le jour) après la Préparation, les grands prêtres et les Pharisiens allèrent ensemble trouver Pilate

KJV ⁶² Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

BCC ⁶³ et dirent : "Seigneur, nous nous sommes rappelés que cet imposteur, lorsqu'il vivait encore, a dit : "dans trois jours je ressusciterai."

KJV ⁶³ Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

BCC ⁶⁴ Commandez donc que le tombeau soit bien gardé jusqu'au troisième jour, de peur que ses disciples ne viennent le dérober et disent au peuple : " Il est ressuscité des morts. "cette dernière imposture serait pire que la première."

KJV ⁶⁴ Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

BCC ⁶⁵ Pilate leur dit : "vous avez une garde : allez, gardez-le comme vous l'entendez."

KJV ⁶⁵ Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

BCC ⁶⁶ Ils s'en allèrent donc et ils s'assurèrent du tombeau en scellant la pierre, avec une garde.

KJV ⁶⁶ So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
