BCC ² Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays de Chanaan, voici le pays qui vous tombera en partage : le pays de Chanaan, selon ses limites, savoir :

KJV ² Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

VULC ² Præcipe filiis Israël, et dices ad eos : Cum ingressi fueritis terram Chanaan, et in possessionem vobis sorte ceciderit, his finibus terminabitur.

WLC ² צַ֞ו אֶת־ בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כִּֽי־ אַתֶּ֥ם בָּאִ֖ים אֶל־ הָאָ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן זֹ֣את הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּפֹּ֤ל לָכֶם֙ בְּֽנַחֲלָ֔ה אֶ֥רֶץ כְּנַ֖עַן לִגְבֻלֹתֶֽיהָ׃

BCC ³ Le côté du midi sera pour vous le désert de Sin, jusqu'à Édom, et votre frontière méridionale partira de l'extrémité méridionale de la mer Salée, vers l'orient,

KJV ³ Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

VULC ³ Pars meridiana incipiet a solitudine Sin, quæ est juxta Edom : et habebit terminos contra orientem mare salsissimum.

WLC ³ וְהָיָ֨ה לָכֶ֧ם פְּאַת־ נֶ֛גֶב מִמִּדְבַּר־ צִ֖ן עַל־ יְדֵ֣י אֱד֑וֹם וְהָיָ֤ה לָכֶם֙ גְּב֣וּל נֶ֔גֶב מִקְצֵ֥ה יָם־ הַמֶּ֖לַח קֵֽדְמָה׃

BCC ⁴ et votre frontière inclinera au sud par la montée d'Akrabbim, passera par Sin, et arrivera jusqu'au midi de Cadès-Barné ; elle continuera par Hatsar-Adar et passera vers Asemon ;

KJV ⁴ And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:

VULC ⁴ Qui circuibunt australem plagam per ascensum Scorpionis, ita ut transeant in Senna, et perveniant a meridie usque ad Cadesbarne, unde egredientur confinia ad villam nomine Adar, et tendent usque ad Asemona.

WLC ⁴ וְנָסַ֣ב לָכֶם֩ הַגְּב֨וּל מִנֶּ֜גֶב לְמַעֲלֵ֤ה עַקְרַבִּים֙ וְעָ֣בַר צִ֔נָה תּֽוֹצְאֹתָ֔יו מִנֶּ֖גֶב לְקָדֵ֣שׁ בַּרְנֵ֑עַ וְיָצָ֥א חֲצַר־ אַדָּ֖ר וְעָבַ֥ר עַצְמֹֽנָה׃

BCC ⁵ et depuis Asemon, la frontière arrivera jusqu'au Torrent d'Égypte, pour arriver à la mer.

KJV ⁵ And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

VULC ⁵ Ibitque per gyrum terminus ab Asemona usque ad torrentem Ægypti, et maris magni littore finietur.

WLC ⁵ וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מֵעַצְמ֖וֹן נַ֣חְלָה מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהָי֥וּ תוֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּֽמָּה׃

BCC ⁶ Quant à la frontière occidentale, vous aurez pour frontière la grande mer : ce sera votre limite à l'occident.

KJV ⁶ And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

VULC ⁶ Plaga autem occidentalis a mari magno incipiet, et ipso fine claudetur.

WLC ⁶ וּגְב֣וּל יָ֔ם וְהָיָ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם הַיָּ֥ם הַגָּד֖וֹל וּגְב֑וּל זֶֽה־ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֥וּל יָֽם׃

BCC ⁷ Voici quelle sera votre frontière septentrionale : à partir de la grande mer,

KJV ⁷ And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

VULC ⁷ Porro ad septentrionalem plagam a mari magno termini incipient, pervenientes usque ad montem altissimum,

WLC ⁷ וְזֶֽה־ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֣וּל צָפ֑וֹן מִן־ הַיָּם֙ הַגָּדֹ֔ל תְּתָא֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם הֹ֥ר הָהָֽר׃

BCC ⁸ vous la tracerez pour vous par le mont Hor ; depuis le mont Hor, vous la tracerez jusqu'à l'entrée de Hamath, et la frontière arrivera à Sedada ;

KJV ⁸ From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

WLC ⁸ מֵהֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר תְּתָא֖וּ לְבֹ֣א חֲמָ֑ת וְהָי֛וּ תּוֹצְאֹ֥ת הַגְּבֻ֖ל צְדָֽדָה׃

BCC ⁹ et la frontière continuera par Zéphron, pour arriver à Hatsar-Enan : ce sera votre limite au septentrion.

KJV ⁹ And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.

VULC ⁹ ibuntque confinia usque ad Zephrona, et villam Enan. Hi erunt termini in parte aquilonis.

WLC ⁹ וְיָצָ֤א הַגְּבֻל֙ זִפְרֹ֔נָה וְהָי֥וּ תוֹצְאֹתָ֖יו חֲצַ֣ר עֵינָ֑ן זֶֽה־ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֥וּל צָפֽוֹן׃

BCC ¹⁰ Vous tracerez votre frontière orientale de Hatsar-Enan à Sépham ;

KJV ¹⁰ And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:

VULC ¹⁰ Inde metabuntur fines contra orientalem plagam de villa Enan usque Sephama,

WLC ¹⁰ וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶ֥ם לָכֶ֖ם לִגְב֣וּל קֵ֑דְמָה מֵחֲצַ֥ר עֵינָ֖ן שְׁפָֽמָה׃

BCC ¹¹ et la frontière descendra de Sépham vers Rébla, à l'est d'Aïn ; et la frontière descendra et s'étendra le long des collines qui flanquent la mer de Cénéreth à l'orient,

KJV ¹¹ And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

VULC ¹¹ et de Sephama descendent termini in Rebla contra fontem Daphnim : inde pervenient contra orientem ad mare Cenereth,

WLC ¹¹ וְיָרַ֨ד הַגְּבֻ֧ל מִשְּׁפָ֛ם הָרִבְלָ֖ה מִקֶּ֣דֶם לָעָ֑יִן וְיָרַ֣ד הַגְּב֔וּל וּמָחָ֛ה עַל־ כֶּ֥תֶף יָם־ כִּנֶּ֖רֶת קֵֽדְמָה׃

BCC ¹² et la frontière descendra le long du Jourdain, pour arriver à la mer Salée. Tel sera votre pays selon les frontières tout autour."

KJV ¹² And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

VULC ¹² et tendent usque ad Jordanem, et ad ultimum salsissimo claudentur mari. Hanc habebitis terram per fines suos in circuitu.

WLC ¹² וְיָרַ֤ד הַגְּבוּל֙ הַיַּרְדֵּ֔נָה וְהָי֥וּ תוֹצְאֹתָ֖יו יָ֣ם הַמֶּ֑לַח זֹאת֩ תִּהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֥ם הָאָ֛רֶץ לִגְבֻלֹתֶ֖יהָ סָבִֽיב׃

BCC ¹³ Moïse donna cet ordre aux enfants d'Israël, en disant : "C'est là le pays que vous partagerez par le sort, et que Yahweh a ordonné de donner aux neuf tribus et à la demi-tribu.

KJV ¹³ And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:

BCC ¹⁴ Car la tribu des fils de Ruben, selon leurs maisons patriarcales, et la tribu des fils de Gad, selon leurs maisons patriarcales, ont reçu leur héritage ; la demi-tribu de Manassé a reçu son héritage.

KJV ¹⁴ For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:

WLC ¹⁴ כִּ֣י לָקְח֞וּ מַטֵּ֨ה בְנֵ֤י הָראוּבֵנִי֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֔ם וּמַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־ הַגָּדִ֖י לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֑ם וַחֲצִי֙ מַטֵּ֣ה מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לָקְח֖וּ נַחֲלָתָֽם׃

BCC ¹⁵ Les deux tribus et la demi-tribu ont pris leur héritage au delà du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho, du côté de l'orient, vers le levant."

KJV ¹⁵ The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
