³ Confie-toi en l'Éternel et pratique le bien ; habite le pays, et repais-toi de* fidélité, ⁴ et fais tes délices de l'Éternel : et il te donnera les demandes de ton cœur. ⁵ Remets ta voie sur l'Éternel, et confie-toi en lui ;

³ Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. ⁴ Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. ⁵ Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

   ³ quoniam sagittæ tuæ infixæ sunt mihi,
et confirmasti super me manum tuam.

non est pax ossibus meis, a facie peccatorum meorum :
   ⁵ quoniam iniquitates meæ supergressæ sunt caput meum,
et sicut onus grave gravatæ sunt super me.
