²⁷ Mais Dieu a choisi les choses folles du monde pour couvrir de honte les [hommes] sages ; et Dieu a choisi les choses faibles du monde pour couvrir de honte les choses fortes ; ²⁸ et Dieu a choisi les choses viles du monde, et celles qui sont méprisées, et celles qui ne sont pas, pour annuler celles qui sont ; ²⁹ en sorte que nulle chair ne se glorifie devant Dieu.
