¹⁸ Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. ¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

¹⁸ Quelqu'un était-il circoncis quand il a été appelé? Qu'il ne cherche pas à le cacher. Quelqu'un était-il incirconcis quand il a été appelé? Qu'il ne se fasse pas circoncire. ¹⁹ La circoncision n'est rien et l'incirconcision n'est rien non plus, mais ce qui compte, c'est le respect des commandements de Dieu.
