DRB ¹⁶ Et tout Israël vit que le roi ne les avait pas écoutés. Et le peuple répondit au roi, disant : Quelle part avons-nous en David ? Et nous n'avons pas d'héritage dans le fils d'Isaï. Chacun à ses tentes, Israël ! Maintenant, David, regarde à ta maison ! Et tout Israël s'en alla à ses tentes.

KJV ¹⁶ And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

MAR ¹⁶ Et quand tout Israël eut vu que le Roi ne les avait point écoutés, le peuple répondit au Roi, en disant : Quelle part avons-nous en David ? Nous n'avons point d'héritage au fils d'Isaï ; Israël, que chacun se retire en ses tentes ; et toi David, pourvois maintenant à ta maison. Ainsi tout Israël s'en alla en ses tentes.
