   ⁶ Et je vis un [autre]* ange volant par le milieu du ciel, ayant l'évangile éternel** pour l'annoncer*** à ceux qui sont établis sur la terre, et à toute nation et tribu et langue et peuple, ⁷ disant à haute voix : Craignez Dieu et donnez-lui gloire, car l'heure de son jugement est venue ; et rendez hommage à celui qui a fait le ciel et la terre et la mer et les fontaines d'eaux. ⁸ Et un autre, un second ange, suivit, disant : Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande, qui, du vin de la fureur de sa fornication, a fait boire* à toutes les nations. ⁹ Et un autre, un troisième ange, suivit ceux-là, disant à haute voix : Si quelqu'un rend hommage à la bête et à son image, et qu'il reçoive une marque sur son front ou sur sa main, ¹⁰ lui aussi boira du vin de la fureur de Dieu, versé sans mélange dans la coupe de sa colère ; et il sera tourmenté dans le feu et le soufre devant les saints anges et devant l'Agneau. ¹¹ Et la fumée de leur tourment monte aux siècles des siècles ; et ils n'ont aucun repos, ni jour, ni nuit, ceux qui rendent hommage à la bête et à son image, et si quelqu'un prend la marque de son nom. ¹² Ici est la patience des saints ; [ici], ceux qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi de Jésus.

   ⁶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, ⁷ Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. ⁸ And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. ⁹ And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, ¹⁰ The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. ¹² Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

⁶ καὶ εἶδον ἄλλον ἄγγελον πετώμενον ἐν μεσουρανήματι ἔχοντα εὐαγγέλιον αἰώνιον εὐαγγελίσαι τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ πᾶν ἔθνος καὶ φυλὴν καὶ γλῶσσαν καὶ λαόν ⁷ λέγοντα ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ φοβήθητε τὸν θεὸν καὶ δότε αὐτῷ δόξαν ὅτι ἦλθεν ἡ ὥρα τῆς κρίσεως αὐτοῦ καὶ προσκυνήσατε τῷ ποιήσαντι τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ θάλασσαν καὶ πηγὰς ὑδάτων ⁸ καὶ ἄλλος ἄγγελος ἠκολούθησεν λέγων ἕπεσεν ἔπεσεν βαβυλὼν ἡ πόλις ἣ μεγάλη ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς πορνείας αὐτῆς πεπότικεν πάντα ἔθνη ⁹ καὶ τρίτος ἄγγελος ἠκολούθησεν αὐτοῖς λέγων ἐν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ εἴ τις τὸ θηρίον προσκυνεῖ καὶ τὴν εἰκόνα αὐτοῦ καὶ λαμβάνει χάραγμα ἐπὶ τοῦ μετώπου αὐτοῦ ἢ ἐπὶ τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ¹⁰ καὶ αὐτὸς πίεται ἐκ τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ θυμοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ κεκερασμένου ἀκράτου ἐν τῷ ποτηρίῳ τῆς ὀργῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ βασανισθήσεται ἐν πυρὶ καὶ θείῳ ἐνώπιον τῶν ἁγίων ἀγγέλων καὶ ἐνώπιον τοῦ ἀρνίου ¹¹ καὶ ὁ καπνὸς τοῦ βασανισμοῦ αὐτῶν ἀναβαίνει εἰς αἰῶνας αἰώνων καὶ οὐκ ἔχουσιν ἀνάπαυσιν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός οἱ προσκυνοῦντες τὸ θηρίον καὶ τὴν εἰκόνα αὐτοῦ καὶ εἴ τις λαμβάνει τὸ χάραγμα τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ ¹² ὧδε ὑπομονὴ τῶν ἁγίων ἐστίν ὧδε οἱ τηροῦντες τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὴν πίστιν ἰησοῦ
