DRB ¹⁰ Les Chaldéens répondirent devant le roi et dirent : Il n'existe pas un homme sur la terre qui puisse indiquer la chose que le roi demande* ; c'est pourquoi aucun roi, quelque grand et puissant qu'il fût, n'a demandé chose pareille d'aucun devin, ou enchanteur, ou Chaldéen ;

KJV ¹⁰ The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

MAR ¹⁰ Les Caldéens répondirent au Roi, et dirent : Il n'y a aucun homme sur la terre qui puisse exécuter ce que le Roi demande ; et aussi il n'y a ni Roi, ni Seigneur, ni Gouverneur qui ait jamais demandé une telle chose à quelque magicien, astrologue, ou Caldéen que ce soit.

VULC ¹⁰ Respondentes ergo Chaldæi coram rege, dixerunt : Non est homo super terram, qui sermonem tuum, rex, possit implere : sed neque regum quisquam magnus et potens verbum hujuscemodi sciscitatur ab omni ariolo, et mago, et Chaldæo.
