Es 45:5-10 (King James)

   ⁵ I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: ⁶ That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. ⁷ I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. ⁸ Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. ⁹ Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? ¹⁰ Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

⁵ C'est moi qui suis l'Eternel et il n'y en a pas d'autre;
à part moi, il n'y a pas de Dieu.
Je t'ai équipé pour le combat alors que tu ne me connaissais pas.
⁶ C'est afin que l'on sache, à l'est comme à l'ouest,
qu'en dehors de moi il n'y a que néant.
C'est moi qui suis l'Eternel et il n'y en a pas d'autre.
⁷ Je forme la lumière et je crée les ténèbres,
je donne la paix et je crée le malheur.
C'est moi, l'Eternel, qui suis l'auteur de tout cela.
⁸ Que le ciel déverse 
et que les nuages fassent couler la justice!
Que la terre s'ouvre afin que le salut y porte du fruit
et qu'avec lui la justice y fleurisse!
C'est moi, l'Eternel, qui ai créé cela.
⁹ Malheur à l'homme qui intente un procès à celui qui l'a façonné,
lui qui n'est qu'un vase parmi d'autres vases de terre!
L'argile dit-elle au potier: «Que fais-tu?»
ou: «Ton travail est mal fait»?
¹⁰ Malheur à l'homme qui dit à son père: «Pourquoi m'as-tu donné la vie?»
et à sa mère: «Pourquoi m'as-tu mis au monde?»
