Ez 16:1-5 (Catholique Crampon)

¹ La parole de Yahweh me fut adressée en ces termes : ² Fils de l'homme, fais connaître à Jérusalem ses abominations et dis : ³ Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh, à Jérusalem : Par ton origine et ta naissance, tu es de la terre du Chananéen ; ton père était l'Amorrhéen et ta mère une Héthéenne. ⁴ Quant à ta naissance, le jour où tu naquis, ton cordon n'a pas été coupé, et tu n'as pas été baignée dans l'eau pour être purifiée ; tu n'as pas été frottée de sel, ni enveloppée de langes. ⁵ Aucun oeil n'eut pitié de toi pour te rendre un seul de ces soins, par compassion pour toi ; mais on te jeta, par dégoût de toi, sur la face des champs, le jour de ta naissance.

   ¹ Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, ² Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, ³ And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite. ⁴ And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all. ⁵ None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
