¹ « Quand vous partagerez au sort le pays pour le posséder, vous prélèverez comme offrande à Yahweh une portion sainte du pays ; sa longueur sera de vingt-cinq mille coudées, et sa largeur de dix mille ; elle sera sainte dans toute son étendue, tout autour. ² Il y en aura pour le sanctuaire, cinq cents sur cinq cents, en carré, tout autour, et cinquante coudées pour sa banlieue, tout autour.

   ¹ Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about. ² Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.

   ¹ Quand vous partagerez par le sort le pays en héritage, vous prélèverez comme offrande à l'Éternel une portion du pays, qui sera sacrée; elle sera de vingt-cinq mille cannes de long, et de dix mille de large; elle sera sacrée dans toute son étendue. ² Dans cette portion, il y aura, pour le sanctuaire, cinq cents cannes sur cinq cents, formant un carré, autour duquel il y aura un rayon libre de cinquante coudées.
