⁶ Et la frontière sortait à l'occident vers Micmethath, au nord ; et la frontière tournait vers l'orient, jusqu'à Thaanath-Silo, et la dépassait vers l'orient, vers Janokha, ⁷ et descendait de Janokha à Ataroth et à Naaratha, et touchait à Jéricho, et aboutissait au Jourdain. ⁸ Depuis Tappuakh la frontière allait vers l'occident, au torrent de Kana, et aboutissait à la mer. Ce fut là l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Éphraïm, selon leurs familles,

⁶ And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah; ⁷ And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan. ⁸ The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

⁶ Elle continuait du côté de l'occident vers Micmethath au nord, tournait à l'orient vers Thaanath Silo, et passait dans la direction de l'orient par Janoach. ⁷ De Janoach elle descendait à Atharoth et à Naaratha, touchait à Jéricho, et se prolongeait jusqu'au Jourdain. ⁸ De Tappuach elle allait vers l'occident au torrent de Kana, pour aboutir à la mer. Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Éphraïm, selon leurs familles.

   ⁶ Egrediunturque confinia in mare : Machmethath vero aquilonem respicit, et circuit terminos contra orientem in Thanathselo : et pertransit ab oriente Janoë.
   ⁷ Descenditque de Janoë in Ataroth et Naaratha : et pervenit in Jericho, egrediturque ad Jordanem.
   ⁸ De Taphua pertransit contra mare in vallem arundineti, suntque egressus ejus in mare salsissimum. Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Ephraim per familias suas.
