Lc 22:21-38 (Darby)

   ²¹ mais voici, la main de celui qui me livre est avec moi à table. ²² Et le fils de l'homme s'en va bien, selon ce qui est déterminé ; mais malheur à cet homme par qui il est livré ! ²³ Et ils se mirent à s'entre-demander l'un à l'autre, qui donc serait celui d'entre eux qui allait faire cela. ²⁴ Et il arriva aussi une contestation entre eux [pour savoir] lequel d'entre eux serait estimé le plus grand. ²⁵ Et il leur dit : Les rois des nations les dominent, et ceux qui exercent l'autorité sur elles sont appelés bienfaiteurs ; ²⁶ mais il n'en sera pas ainsi de vous ; mais que le plus grand parmi vous soit comme le plus jeune, et celui qui conduit comme celui qui sert. ²⁷ Car lequel est le plus grand, celui qui est à table ou celui qui sert ? N'est-ce pas celui qui est à table ? Or moi, je suis au milieu de vous comme celui qui sert. ²⁸ Mais vous, vous êtes ceux qui avez persévéré avec moi dans mes tentations*. ²⁹ Et moi, je vous confère un royaume comme mon Père m'en a conféré un, ³⁰ afin que vous mangiez et que vous buviez à ma table dans mon royaume ; et que vous soyez assis sur des trônes, jugeant les douze tribus d'Israël. ³¹ Et le Seigneur dit : Simon, Simon, voici, Satan a demandé à vous avoir pour vous cribler comme le blé ; ³² mais moi, j'ai prié pour toi, afin que ta foi ne défaille pas ; et toi, quand une fois tu seras revenu, fortifie tes frères. ³³ - Et il lui dit : Seigneur, avec toi, je suis prêt à aller et en prison et à la mort. ³⁴ - Et il dit : Pierre, je te dis : le coq ne chantera point aujourd'hui, que premièrement tu n'aies nié trois fois de me connaître. ³⁵ Et il leur dit : Quand je vous ai envoyés sans bourse, sans sac et sans sandales, avez-vous manqué de quelque chose ? Et ils dirent : De rien. ³⁶ Il leur dit donc : Mais maintenant, que celui qui a une bourse la prenne, et de même [celui qui a] un sac, et que celui qui n'a pas [d'épée] vende son vêtement et achète une épée. ³⁷ Car je vous dis, qu'il faut encore que ceci qui est écrit, soit accompli en moi : «Et il a été compté parmi les iniques» {Ésaïe 53:12}. Car aussi les choses qui me concernent vont avoir leur fin. ³⁸ Et ils dirent : Seigneur, voici ici deux épées. Et il leur dit : C'est assez.

   ²¹ But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. ²² And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! ²³ And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. ²⁴ And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. ²⁵ And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. ²⁶ But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. ²⁷ For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. ²⁸ Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. ²⁹ And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; ³⁰ That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: ³² But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. ³³ And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. ³⁴ And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. ³⁵ And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. ³⁶ Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. ³⁷ For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. ³⁸ And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

   ²¹ Verumtamen ecce manus tradentis me, mecum est in mensa.
   ²² Et quidem Filius hominis, secundum quod definitum est, vadit : verumtamen væ homini illi per quem tradetur.
   ²³ Et ipsi cœperunt quærere inter se quis esset ex eis qui hoc facturus esset.
   ²⁴ Facta est autem et contentio inter eos, quis eorum videretur esse major.
   ²⁵ Dixit autem eis : Reges gentium dominantur eorum : et qui potestatem habent super eos, benefici vocantur.
   ²⁶ Vos autem non sic : sed qui major est in vobis, fiat sicut minor : et qui præcessor est, sicut ministrator.
   ²⁷ Nam quis major est, qui recumbit, an qui ministrat ? nonne qui recumbit ? Ego autem in medio vestrum sum, sicut qui ministrat :
   ²⁸ vos autem estis, qui permansistis mecum in tentationibus meis.
   ²⁹ Et ego dispono vobis sicut disposuit mihi Pater meus regnum,
   ³⁰ ut edatis et bibatis super mensam meam in regno meo, et sedeatis super thronos judicantes duodecim tribus Israël.
   ³¹ Ait autem Dominus : Simon, Simon, ecce Satanas expetivit vos ut cribraret sicut triticum :
   ³² ego autem rogavi pro te ut non deficiat fides tua : et tu aliquando conversus, confirma fratres tuos.
   ³³ Qui dixit ei : Domine, tecum paratus sum et in carcerem et in mortem ire.
   ³⁴ At ille dixit : Dico tibi, Petre, non cantabit hodie gallus, donec ter abneges nosse me. Et dixit eis :
   ³⁵ Quando misi vos sine sacculo, et pera, et calceamentis, numquid aliquid defuit vobis ?
   ³⁶ At illi dixerunt : Nihil. Dixit ergo eis : Sed nunc qui habet sacculum, tollat ; similiter et peram : et qui non habet, vendat tunicam suam et emat gladium.
   ³⁷ Dico enim vobis, quoniam adhuc hoc quod scriptum est, oportet impleri in me : Et cum iniquis deputatus est. Etenim ea quæ sunt de me finem habent.
   ³⁸ At illi dixerunt : Domine, ecce duo gladii hic. At ille dixit eis : Satis est.
