Mc 3:13-21 (King James)

   ¹³ And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. ¹⁴ And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, ¹⁵ And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: ¹⁶ And Simon he surnamed Peter; ¹⁷ And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: ¹⁸ And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, ¹⁹ And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house. ²⁰ And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. ²¹ And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

   ¹³ Puis il monta sur une montagne, et appela ceux qu'il voulut, et ils vinrent à lui. ¹⁴ Et il en ordonna douze pour être avec lui, et pour les envoyer prêcher ; ¹⁵ Et afin qu'ils eussent la puissance de guérir les maladies, et de chasser les démons hors [des possédés]. ¹⁶ [Et ce sont ici les noms de ces douze], Simon qu'il surnomma Pierre. ¹⁷ Et Jacques fils de Zébédée, et Jean, frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanergès, qui veut dire, fils de tonnerre. ¹⁸ Et André, et Philippe, et Barthélemy, et Matthieu, et Thomas, et Jacques [fils] d'Alphée, et Thaddée, et Simon le Cananéen, ¹⁹ Et Judas Iscariot, qui même le trahit. ²⁰ Puis ils vinrent en la maison, et il s'y assembla encore une si grande multitude, qu'ils ne pouvaient pas même prendre leur repas. ²¹ Et quand ses parents eurent entendu cela, ils sortirent pour se saisir de lui ; car ils disaient qu'il était hors du sens.
