Mi 3:1-7 (Darby)

   ¹ Et je dis : Écoutez, je vous prie, chefs de Jacob, et vous, princes de la maison d'Israël : N'est-ce pas à vous de connaître ce qui est juste* ? ² Vous qui haïssez le bien et qui aimez le mal, qui arrachez leur peau de dessus eux, ³ et leur chair de dessus leurs os, qui mangez la chair de mon peuple et ôtez leur peau de dessus eux, et qui brisez leurs os, et les mettez en morceaux comme dans une chaudière, et comme de la chair au milieu d'une marmite. ⁴ Alors ils crieront à l'Éternel, et il ne leur répondra pas, et il leur cachera sa face en ce temps-là, selon qu'ils ont agi méchamment. ⁵ Ainsi dit l'Éternel touchant les prophètes qui font errer mon peuple ; qui mordent avec leurs dents, et crient : Paix ! et si quelqu'un ne met rien dans leur bouche, ils préparent* la guerre contre lui. ⁶ C'est pourquoi vous aurez la nuit, sans vision, et vous aurez les ténèbres, sans divination ; et le soleil se couchera sur les prophètes, et le jour s'obscurcira sur eux. ⁷ Et les voyants seront honteux, et les devins seront confondus, et ils se couvriront tous la barbe, parce qu'il n'y a pas de réponse de Dieu.

   ¹ And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? ² Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; ³ Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. ⁴ Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. ⁵ Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. ⁶ Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. ⁷ Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

et duces domus Israël :
numquid non vestrum est scire judicium,
   ² qui odio habetis bonum, et diligitis malum ;
qui violenter tollitis pelles eorum desuper eis,
et carnem eorum desuper ossibus eorum ;
   ³ qui comederunt carnem populi mei,
et pellem eorum desuper excoriaverunt,
et ossa eorum confregerunt,
et conciderunt sicut in lebete,
et quasi carnem in medio ollæ ?
   ⁴ Tunc clamabunt ad Dominum, et non exaudiet eos,
et abscondet faciem suam ab eis in tempore illo,
sicut nequiter egerunt in adinventionibus suis.
   ⁵ Hæc dicit Dominus super prophetas,
qui seducunt populum meum :
qui mordent dentibus suis,
et prædicant pacem ;
et si quis non dederit in ore eorum quippiam,
sanctificant super eum prælium.
   ⁶ Propterea nox vobis pro visione erit,
et tenebræ vobis pro divinatione ;
et occumbet sol super prophetas,
et obtenebrabitur super eos dies.
   ⁷ Et confundentur qui vident visiones,
et confundentur divini ;
et operient omnes vultos suos,
quia non est responsum Dei.
