Ps 147:1-11 (Catholique Crampon)

¹ Alléluia ‒ louez Yahweh, car il est bon de célébrer notre Dieu, car il est doux, il est bienséant de le louer. ² Yahweh rebâtit Jérusalem, il rassemble les dispersés d'Israël. ³ Il guérit ceux qui ont le coeur brisé, et il panse leurs blessures. ⁴ Il compte le nombre des étoiles, il les appelle toutes par leur nom. ⁵ Notre Seigneur est grand, et sa force est infinie, et son intelligence n'a pas de limites. ⁶ Yahweh vient en aide aux humbles, il abaisse les méchants jusqu'à terre. ⁷ Chantez à Yahweh un cantique d'actions de grâces ; célébrez notre Dieu sur la harpe ! ⁸ Il couvre les cieux de nuages, et prépare la pluie pour la terre ; il fait croître l'herbe sur les montagnes. ⁹ Il donne la nourriture au bétail, aux petits du corbeau qui crient vers lui. ¹⁰ Ce n'est pas dans la vigueur du cheval qu'il se complaît, ni dans les jambes de l'homme qu'il met son plaisir ; ¹¹ Yahweh met son plaisir en ceux qui le craignent, en ceux qui espèrent en sa bonté.

   ¹ Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. ² The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. ³ He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. ⁴ He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. ⁵ Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. ⁶ The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. ⁷ Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: ⁸ Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. ⁹ He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. ¹⁰ He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. ¹¹ The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
