Ps 30:6-12 (King James)

   ⁶ And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. ⁷ LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. ⁸ I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. ⁹ What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? ¹⁰ Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. ¹¹ Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; ¹² To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

   ⁶ (30:7) Je disais dans ma sécurité: Je ne chancellerai jamais ! ⁷ (30:8) Éternel ! par ta grâce tu avais affermi ma montagne... Tu cachas ta face, et je fus troublé. ⁸ (30:9) Éternel ! j'ai crié à toi, J'ai imploré l'Éternel: ⁹ (30:10) Que gagnes-tu à verser mon sang, A me faire descendre dans la fosse ? La poussière a-t-elle pour toi des louanges ? Raconte-t-elle ta fidélité ? ¹⁰ (30:11) Écoute, Éternel, aie pitié de moi ! Éternel, secours-moi ! - ¹¹ (30:12) Et tu as changé mes lamentations en allégresse, Tu as délié mon sac, et tu m'as ceint de joie, ¹² (30:13) Afin que mon coeur te chante et ne soit pas muet. Éternel, mon Dieu ! je te louerai toujours.
