⁴ Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;
⁵ Even the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his memorial.

⁴ Dès le sein maternel il supplanta son frère, et dans sa force il lutta avec Dieu.
⁵ Il lutta avec l'ange, et il fut le plus fort; il pleura, et lui demanda grâce. A Béthel il le trouva, et c'est là que Dieu nous a parlé.
