¹ Et il y avait un homme de Benjamin, et son nom était Kis, homme fort et vaillant, fils d'Abiel, fils de Tseror, fils de Becorath, fils d'Aphiakh, fils d'un Benjaminite ;
² et il avait un fils, et son nom était Saül, homme d'élite et beau ; et il n'y avait aucun des fils d'Israël qui fût plus beau que lui ; il était plus grand que tout le peuple, depuis les épaules en haut.

¹ Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power.
² And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.
