BCC ¹ Quoi ! il y en a parmi vous qui, ayant un différend avec un autre, osent aller en jugement devant les injustes, et non devant les saints !

KJV ¹ Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

BCC ² Ne savez-vous pas que les saints jugeront le monde ? Et si c'est par vous que le monde doit être jugé, êtes-vous indignes de rendre des jugements de moindre importance ?

KJV ² Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

BCC ³ Ne savez-vous pas que nous jugerons les anges ? Pourquoi pas, à plus forte raison, les affaires de cette vie ?

KJV ³ Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

BCC ⁴ Quand donc vous avez des jugements à faire rendre sur les affaires de cette vie, établissez pour les juger ceux qui sont les moins considérés dans l'Église !

KJV ⁴ If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

BCC ⁵ Je le dis à votre honte : ainsi il n'y a pas un homme sage parmi vous, pas un seul qui puisse se prononcer entre ses frères !

KJV ⁵ I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
