BAN ⁹ Et l'Eternel fut irrité contre Salomon, parce qu'il avait détourné son coeur de l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, qui lui était apparu deux fois

KJV ⁹ And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

WLC ⁹ וַיִּתְאַנַּ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה בִּשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה כִּֽי־ נָטָ֣ה לְבָב֗וֹ מֵעִ֤ם יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַנִּרְאָ֥ה אֵלָ֖יו פַּעֲמָֽיִם׃

BAN ¹⁰ et qui lui avait donné un commandement à ce sujet, celui de ne point suivre d'autres dieux ; et il n'avait point gardé ce que l'Eternel lui avait commandé.

KJV ¹⁰ And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

WLC ¹⁰ וְצִוָּ֤ה אֵלָיו֙ עַל־ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה לְבִ֨לְתִּי־ לֶ֔כֶת אַחֲרֵ֖י אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְלֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔ר אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ¹¹ Et l'Eternel dit à Salomon : Puisque tu as agi de la sorte et que tu n'as pas gardé mon alliance et mes statuts que je t'avais prescrits, je déchirerai le royaume de dessus toi et je le donnerai à ton serviteur.

KJV ¹¹ Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

WLC ¹¹ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה לִשְׁלֹמֹ֗ה יַ֚עַן אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָֽיְתָה־ זֹּ֣את עִמָּ֔ךְ וְלֹ֤א שָׁמַ֙רְתָּ֙ בְּרִיתִ֣י וְחֻקֹּתַ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּ֖יתִי עָלֶ֑יךָ קָרֹ֨עַ אֶקְרַ֤ע אֶת־ הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ וּנְתַתִּ֖יהָ לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃

BAN ¹² Seulement, je ne le ferai point pendant ta vie, à cause de David, ton père ; c'est de la main de ton fils que je l'arracherai.

KJV ¹² Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

WLC ¹² אַךְ־ בְּיָמֶ֙יךָ֙ לֹ֣א אֶעֱשֶׂ֔נָּה לְמַ֖עַן דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֑יךָ מִיַּ֥ד בִּנְךָ֖ אֶקְרָעֶֽנָּה׃

BAN ¹³ Je n'arracherai pourtant pas tout le royaume : j'en donnerai une tribu à ton fils, à cause de David, mon serviteur, et à cause de Jérusalem que j'ai choisie.

KJV ¹³ Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

WLC ¹³ רַ֤ק אֶת־ כָּל־ הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ לֹ֣א אֶקְרָ֔ע שֵׁ֥בֶט אֶחָ֖ד אֶתֵּ֣ן לִבְנֶ֑ךָ לְמַ֙עַן֙ דָּוִ֣ד עַבְדִּ֔י וּלְמַ֥עַן יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּחָֽרְתִּי׃
