DRB ⁹ Donne donc à ton serviteur un cœur qui écoute*, pour juger ton peuple, pour discerner entre le bien et le mal ; car qui est capable de juger ton si grand peuple ?

KJV ⁹ Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

DRB ¹⁰ Et la parole fut bonne aux yeux du Seigneur, que Salomon eût demandé cette chose.

DRB ¹¹ Et Dieu lui dit : Parce que tu as demandé cela, et que tu n'as pas demandé pour toi de longs jours, et que tu n'as pas demandé pour toi des richesses, et que tu n'as pas demandé la vie de tes ennemis, mais que tu as demandé pour toi du discernement afin de comprendre* le juste jugement,
