KJV ⁸ And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

MAR ⁸ Et au septième [jour] du cinquième mois, en la dix-neuvième année du Roi Nébucadnetsar, Roi de Babylone, Nébuzar-adan prévôt de l'hôtel, serviteur du Roi de Babylone, entra dans Jérusalem ;

KJV ⁹ And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.

MAR ⁹ Et il brûla la maison de l'Eternel, et la maison Royale, et toutes les maisons de Jérusalem, et mit le feu dans toutes les maisons des Grands.

KJV ¹⁰ And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

MAR ¹⁰ Et toute l'armée des Caldéens, qui [était] avec le prévôt de l'hôtel, démolit les murailles de Jérusalem tout autour.

KJV ¹¹ Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.

MAR ¹¹ Et Nébuzar-adan prévôt de l'hôtel transporta [à Babylone] le reste du peuple, [savoir] ceux qui étaient demeurés de reste dans la ville, et ceux qui s'étaient allés rendre au Roi de Babylone, et le reste de la multitude.

KJV ¹² But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.

MAR ¹² Néanmoins le prévôt de l'hôtel laissa quelques-uns des plus pauvres du pays pour [être] vignerons et laboureurs.

KJV ¹³ And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.

MAR ¹³ Et les Caldéens mirent en pièces les colonnes d'airain qui [étaient] dans la maison de l'Eternel, et les soubassements, et la mer d'airain qui [était] dans la maison de l'Eternel, et ils en emportèrent l'airain à Babylone.

KJV ¹⁴ And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

MAR ¹⁴ Ils emportèrent aussi les chaudrons, et les racloirs, et les serpes, et les tasses, et tous les ustensiles d'airain dont on faisait le service.

KJV ¹⁵ And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.

MAR ¹⁵ Le prévôt de l'hôtel emporta aussi les encensoirs et les bassins ; et ce qui était d'or, et ce qui était d'argent.

KJV ¹⁶ The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

MAR ¹⁶ Quant aux deux colonnes, à la mer, et aux soubassements que Salomon avait faits pour la maison de l'Eternel, on ne pesa point l'airain de tous ces vaisseaux.

KJV ¹⁷ The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathen work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathen work.

MAR ¹⁷ Chaque colonne avait dix-huit coudées de haut, et elle avait un chapiteau d'airain par dessus, dont la hauteur était de trois coudées, outre le rets et les grenades qui étaient autour du chapiteau, le tout d'airain ; et la seconde colonne était de même façon, avec le rets.

KJV ¹⁸ And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:

MAR ¹⁸ Le prévôt de l'hôtel emmena aussi Séraja premier Sacrificateur, et Sophonie second Sacrificateur, et les trois gardes des vaisseaux.

KJV ¹⁹ And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:

MAR ¹⁹ Il emmena aussi de la ville un Eunuque qui avait la charge des hommes de guerre, et cinq hommes de ceux qui voyaient la face du Roi, lesquels furent trouvés dans la ville. [Il emmena] aussi le Secrétaire du Capitaine de l'armée qui enrôlait le peuple du pays, et soixante hommes d'entre le peuple du pays, qui furent trouvés dans la ville.

KJV ²⁰ And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:

MAR ²⁰ Nébuzar-adan donc prévôt de l'hôtel les prit, et les mena au Roi de Babylone à Ribla.

KJV ²¹ And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.

MAR ²¹ Et le Roi de Babylone les frappa, et les fit mourir à Ribla, au pays de Hamath ; ainsi Juda fut transporté hors de sa terre.
