¹² Et elle lui dit : Non, mon frère, ne m'humilie pas ; car on ne fait point ainsi en Israël : ne fais pas cette infamie. ¹³ Et moi, où porterais-je ma honte ? Et toi, tu serais comme l'un des infâmes en Israël. Et maintenant, parle au roi, je te prie, car il ne me refusera point à toi.

¹² And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly. ¹³ And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel.
