DRB ¹ Et David dit : y a-t-il encore quelqu'un qui soit demeuré de reste de la maison de Saül ? et j'userai de bonté envers lui à cause de Jonathan. *

KJV ¹ And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

WLC ¹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֔ד הֲכִ֣י יֶשׁ־ ע֔וֹד אֲשֶׁ֥ר נוֹתַ֖ר לְבֵ֣ית שָׁא֑וּל וְאֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה עִמּוֹ֙ חֶ֔סֶד בַּעֲב֖וּר יְהוֹנָתָֽן׃

BCC ² Il y avait un serviteur de la maison de Saül, nommé Siba. On le fit venir auprès de David, et le roi lui dit : "Es-tu Siba ?" Et il répondit : "Ton serviteur !"

DRB ² Et il y avait un serviteur de la maison de Saül, dont le nom était Tsiba ; et on l'appela auprès de David. Et le roi lui dit : Es-tu Tsiba ? Et il dit : Ton serviteur !

KJV ² And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

WLC ² וּלְבֵ֨ית שָׁא֥וּל עֶ֙בֶד֙ וּשְׁמ֣וֹ צִיבָ֔א וַיִּקְרְאוּ־ ל֖וֹ אֶל־ דָּוִ֑ד וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ אֵלָ֛יו הַאַתָּ֥ה צִיבָ֖א וַיֹּ֥אמֶר עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃

BCC ³ Le roi dit : "N'y a-t-il plus personne de la maison de Saül à qui je puisse faire du bien comme Dieu ?" Et Siba répondit au roi : "Il y a encore un fils de Jonathas, qui est perclus des deux pieds."

DRB ³ Et le roi dit : N'y a-t-il plus personne de la maison de Saül ? et j'userai envers lui d'une bonté de Dieu. Et Tsiba dit au roi : Il y a encore un fils de Jonathan, perclus des pieds.

KJV ³ And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

KJV ⁴ And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.

KJV ⁵ Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.

BCC ⁶ Arrivé auprès de David, Miphiboseth, fils de Jonathas, fils de Saül, tomba sur sa face et se prosterna. Et David dit : "Miphiboseth !" Il répondit : "Voici ton serviteur."

DRB ⁶ Et Mephibosheth, fils de Jonathan, fils de Saül, vint vers David, et il tomba sur sa face et se prosterna. Et David dit : Mephibosheth ! Et il dit : Voici ton serviteur.

KJV ⁶ Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

WLC ⁶ וַ֠יָּבֹא מְפִיבֹ֨שֶׁת בֶּן־ יְהוֹנָתָ֤ן בֶּן־ שָׁאוּל֙ אֶל־ דָּוִ֔ד וַיִּפֹּ֥ל עַל־ פָּנָ֖יו וַיִּשְׁתָּ֑חוּ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ מְפִיבֹ֔שֶׁת וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הִנֵּ֥ה עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃

BCC ⁷ Et David lui dit : "Ne crains point, car je veux te faire du bien à cause de Jonathas, ton père. Je te rendrai toutes les terres de Saül, ton père, et toi tu prendras toujours ta nourriture à ma table."

DRB ⁷ Et David lui dit : Ne crains point, car certainement j'userai de bonté envers toi à cause de Jonathan, ton père, et je te rendrai tous les champs de Saül, ton père, et tu mangeras continuellement le pain à ma table.

KJV ⁷ And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
