KJV ¹⁹ Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

S21 ¹⁹ Nebucadnetsar fut alors rempli de colère. Il changea de visage vis-à-vis de Shadrak, Méshak et Abed-Nego. Reprenant la parole, il ordonna de chauffer la fournaise sept fois plus que d'habitude.

VULC ¹⁹ Tunc Nabuchodonosor repletus est furore, et aspectus faciei illius immutatus est super Sidrach, Misach, et Abdenago : et præcepit ut succenderetur fornax septuplum quam succendi consueverat.

WLC ¹⁹ בֵּאדַ֨יִן נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֜ר הִתְמְלִ֣י חֱמָ֗א וּצְלֵ֤ם אַנְפּ֙וֹהִי֙ עַל־ שַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ עָנֵ֤ה וְאָמַר֙ לְמֵזֵ֣א לְאַתּוּנָ֔א חַ֨ד־ שִׁבְעָ֔ה עַ֛ל דִּ֥י חֲזֵ֖ה לְמֵזְיֵֽהּ׃

BAN ²⁰ et il commanda à quelques-uns des hommes forts de son armée, de lier Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo et de les jeter dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

KJV ²⁰ And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

S21 ²⁰ Puis il ordonna à quelques soldats particulièrement forts de son armée d'attacher Shadrak, Méshak et Abed-Nego et de les jeter dans la fournaise ardente.

VULC ²⁰ Et viris fortissimis de exercitu suo jussit ut ligatis pedibus Sidrach, Misach, et Abdenago, mitterent eos in fornacem ignis ardentis.

WLC ²⁰ וּלְגֻבְרִ֤ין גִּבָּֽרֵי־ חַ֙יִל֙ דִּ֣י בְחַיְלֵ֔הּ אֲמַר֙ לְכַפָּתָ֔ה לְשַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ לְמִרְמֵ֕א לְאַתּ֥וּן נוּרָ֖א יָקִֽדְתָּֽא׃

BAN ²¹ Alors ces hommes, avec leurs tuniques, leurs robes, leurs manteaux et tous leurs vêtements, furent liés et jetés dans la fournaise de feu ardent.

KJV ²¹ Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

S21 ²¹ Ces hommes furent alors attachés, habillés de leurs caleçons, de leurs tuniques, de leurs manteaux et de leurs autres vêtements, et ils furent jetés au milieu de la fournaise ardente.

VULC ²¹ Et confestim viri illi vincti, cum braccis suis, et tiaris, et calceamentis, et vestibus, missi sunt in medium fornacis ignis ardentis :

WLC ²¹ בֵּאדַ֜יִן גֻּבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֗ךְ כְּפִ֙תוּ֙ בְּסַרְבָּלֵיהוֹן֙ וְכַרְבְּלָתְה֖וֹן וּלְבֻשֵׁיה֑וֹן וּרְמִ֕יו לְגֽוֹא־ אַתּ֥וּן נוּרָ֖א יָקִֽדְתָּֽא׃

BAN ²² Mais comme l'ordre du roi était pressant et la fournaise extraordinairement chauffée, la flamme du feu tua les hommes qui y avaient jeté Sadrac, Mésac et AbedNégo.

KJV ²² Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

S21 ²² Comme l'ordre du roi était catégorique et que la fournaise était extraordinairement chauffée, la flamme tua les hommes qui y avaient jeté Shadrak, Méshak et Abed-Nego.

VULC ²² nam jussio regis urgebat. Fornax autem succensa erat nimis : porro viros illos, qui miserant Sidrach, Misach, et Abdenago, interfecit flamma ignis.

WLC ²² כָּל־ קֳבֵ֣ל דְּנָ֗ה מִן־ דִּ֞י מִלַּ֤ת מַלְכָּא֙ מַחְצְפָ֔ה וְאַתּוּנָ֖א אֵזֵ֣ה יַתִּ֑ירָא גֻּבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֗ךְ דִּ֤י הַסִּ֙קוּ֙ לְשַׁדְרַ֤ךְ מֵישַׁךְ֙ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֔וֹ קַטִּ֣ל הִמּ֔וֹן שְׁבִיבָ֖א דִּ֥י נוּרָֽא׃

BAN ²³ Et ces trois hommes, Sadrac, Mésac et Abed-Négo tombèrent au milieu de la fournaise ardente, tout liés.

KJV ²³ And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

S21 ²³ Quant aux trois hommes en question, Shadrak, Méshak et Abed-Nego, ils tombèrent ligotés au milieu de la fournaise ardente.

BAN ²⁴ Alors le roi Nébucadnetsar fut dans la stupeur et se leva précipitamment. Il prit la parole et dit à ses conseillers : N'est-ce pas trois hommes que nous avons jetés au milieu du feu tout liés ? Ils répondirent et dirent au roi : Certainement, ô roi.

KJV ²⁴ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

S21 ²⁴ Le roi Nebucadnetsar fut alors effrayé et se leva subitement. Il prit la parole et dit à ses conseillers: «N'avons-nous pas jeté trois hommes ligotés au milieu du feu?» Ils répondirent au roi: «Certainement, roi!»

VULC ²⁴ Et ambulabant in medio flammæ, laudantes Deum, et benedicentes Domino.

WLC ²⁴ אֱדַ֙יִן֙ נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֣ר מַלְכָּ֔א תְּוַ֖הּ וְקָ֣ם בְּהִתְבְּהָלָ֑ה עָנֵ֨ה וְאָמַ֜ר לְהַדָּֽבְר֗וֹהִי הֲלָא֩ גֻבְרִ֨ין תְּלָתָ֜א רְמֵ֤ינָא לְגוֹא־ נוּרָא֙ מְכַפְּתִ֔ין עָנַ֤יִן וְאָמְרִין֙ לְמַלְכָּ֔א יַצִּיבָ֖א מַלְכָּֽא׃

BAN ²⁵ Il reprit et dit : Voici, je vois quatre hommes déliés marchant au milieu du feu, et ils n'ont point de mal ; et l'aspect du quatrième est comme celui d'un fils des dieux.

KJV ²⁵ He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

S21 ²⁵ Il reprit: «Eh bien, j'aperçois quatre hommes dépourvus de liens qui marchent au milieu du feu, porteurs d'aucune blessure, et le quatrième ressemble à un fils des dieux.»

VULC ²⁵ Stans autem Azarias oravit sic, aperiensque os suum in medio ignis, ait :

WLC ²⁵ עָנֵ֣ה וְאָמַ֗ר הָֽא־ אֲנָ֨ה חָזֵ֜ה גֻּבְרִ֣ין אַרְבְּעָ֗ה שְׁרַ֙יִן֙ מַהְלְכִ֣ין בְּגֽוֹא־ נוּרָ֔א וַחֲבָ֖ל לָא־ אִיתַ֣י בְּה֑וֹן וְרֵוֵהּ֙ דִּ֣י דָּמֵ֖ה לְבַר־ אֱלָהִֽין׃
