WLC ⁸ כָּל־ קֳבֵ֤ל דְּנָה֙ בֵּהּ־ זִמְנָ֔א קְרִ֖בוּ גֻּבְרִ֣ין כַּשְׂדָּאִ֑ין וַאֲכַ֥לוּ קַרְצֵיה֖וֹן דִּ֥י יְהוּדָיֵֽא׃

KJV ⁹ They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

LSG ⁹ Ils prirent la parole et dirent au roi Nebucadnetsar: O roi, vis éternellement !

WLC ⁹ עֲנוֹ֙ וְאָ֣מְרִ֔ין לִנְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֖ר מַלְכָּ֑א מַלְכָּ֖א לְעָלְמִ֥ין חֱיִֽי׃

KJV ¹⁰ Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

LSG ¹⁰ Tu as donné un ordre d'après lequel tous ceux qui entendraient le son de la trompette, du chalumeau, de la guitare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion, de la cornemuse, et de toutes sortes d'instruments, devraient se prosterner et adorer la statue d'or,

WLC ¹⁰ מַלְכָּא֮ שָׂ֣מְתָּ טְּעֵם֒ דִּ֣י כָל־ אֱנָ֡שׁ דִּֽי־ יִשְׁמַ֡ע קָ֣ל קַרְנָ֣א מַ֠שְׁרֹקִיתָא שַׂבְּכָ֤א פְסַנְתֵּרִין֙ וְכֹ֖ל זְנֵ֣י זְמָרָ֑א יִפֵּ֥ל וְיִסְגֻּ֖ד לְצֶ֥לֶם דַּהֲבָֽא׃

KJV ¹¹ And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

LSG ¹¹ et d'après lequel quiconque ne se prosternerait pas et n'adorerait pas serait jeté au milieu d'une fournaise ardente.

WLC ¹¹ וּמַן־ דִּי־ לָ֥א יִפֵּ֖ל וְיִסְגֻּ֑ד יִתְרְמֵ֕א לְגֽוֹא־ אַתּ֥וּן נוּרָ֖א יָקִֽדְתָּֽא׃

KJV ¹² There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

LSG ¹² Or, il y a des Juifs à qui tu as remis l'intendance de la province de Babylone, Schadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego, hommes qui ne tiennent aucun compte de toi, ô roi ; ils ne servent pas tes dieux, et ils n'adorent point la statue d'or que tu as élevée.

WLC ¹² אִיתַ֞י גֻּבְרִ֣ין יְהוּדָאיִ֗ן דִּֽי־ מַנִּ֤יתָ יָתְהוֹן֙ עַל־ עֲבִידַת֙ מְדִינַ֣ת בָּבֶ֔ל שַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ גֻּבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֗ךְ לָא־ שָׂ֨מֽוּ מַלְכָּא֙ טְעֵ֔ם לָ֣א פָלְחִ֔ין וּלְצֶ֧לֶם דַּהֲבָ֛א דִּ֥י הֲקֵ֖ימְתָּ לָ֥א סָגְדִֽין׃

KJV ¹³ Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

LSG ¹³ Alors Nebucadnetsar, irrité et furieux, donna l'ordre qu'on amenât Schadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego. Et ces hommes furent amenés devant le roi.

WLC ¹³ בֵּאדַ֤יִן נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר֙ בִּרְגַ֣ז וַחֲמָ֔ה אֲמַר֙ לְהַיְתָיָ֔ה לְשַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ בֵּאדַ֙יִן֙ גֻּבְרַיָּ֣א אִלֵּ֔ךְ הֵיתָ֖יוּ קֳדָ֥ם מַלְכָּֽא׃

KJV ¹⁴ Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

LSG ¹⁴ Nebucadnetsar prit la parole et leur dit: Est-ce de propos délibéré, Schadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego, que vous ne servez pas mes dieux, et que vous n'adorez pas la statue d'or que j'ai élevée ?

WLC ¹⁴ עָנֵ֤ה נְבֻֽכַדְנֶצַּר֙ וְאָמַ֣ר לְה֔וֹן הַצְדָּ֕א שַׁדְרַ֥ךְ מֵישַׁ֖ךְ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֑וֹ לֵֽאלָהַ֗י לָ֤א אִֽיתֵיכוֹן֙ פָּֽלְחִ֔ין וּלְצֶ֧לֶם דַּהֲבָ֛א דִּ֥י הֲקֵ֖ימֶת לָ֥א סָֽגְדִֽין׃

KJV ¹⁵ Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

LSG ¹⁵ Maintenant tenez-vous prêts, et au moment où vous entendrez le son de la trompette, du chalumeau, de la guitare, de la sambuque, du psaltérion, de la cornemuse, et de toutes sortes d'instruments, vous vous prosternerez et vous adorerez la statue que j'ai faite ; si vous ne l'adorez pas, vous serez jetés à l'instant même au milieu d'une fournaise ardente. Et quel est le dieu qui vous délivrera de ma main ?

WLC ¹⁵ כְּעַ֞ן הֵ֧ן אִֽיתֵיכ֣וֹן עֲתִידִ֗ין דִּ֣י בְעִדָּנָ֡א דִּֽי־ תִשְׁמְע֡וּן קָ֣ל קַרְנָ֣א מַשְׁרוֹקִיתָ֣א שַׂבְּכָ֡א פְּסַנְתֵּרִין֩ וְסוּמְפֹּ֨נְיָ֜ה וְכֹ֣ל ׀ זְנֵ֣י זְמָרָ֗א תִּפְּל֣וּן וְתִסְגְּדוּן֮ לְצַלְמָ֣א דִֽי־ עַבְדֵת֒ וְהֵן֙ לָ֣א תִסְגְּד֔וּן בַּהּ־ שַׁעֲתָ֣ה תִתְרְמ֔וֹן לְגֽוֹא־ אַתּ֥וּן נוּרָ֖א יָקִֽדְתָּ֑א וּמַן־ ה֣וּא אֱלָ֔הּ דֵּ֥י יְשֵֽׁיזְבִנְכ֖וֹן מִן־ יְדָֽי׃

KJV ¹⁶ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

LSG ¹⁶ Schadrac, Méschac et Abed Nego répliquèrent au roi Nebucadnetsar: Nous n'avons pas besoin de te répondre là-dessus.

WLC ¹⁶ עֲנ֗וֹ שַׁדְרַ֤ךְ מֵישַׁךְ֙ וַעֲבֵ֣ד נְג֔וֹ וְאָמְרִ֖ין לְמַלְכָּ֑א נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּ֔ר לָֽא־ חַשְׁחִ֨ין אֲנַ֧חְנָה עַל־ דְּנָ֛ה פִּתְגָ֖ם לַהֲתָבוּתָֽךְ׃

KJV ¹⁷ If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

LSG ¹⁷ Voici, notre Dieu que nous servons peut nous délivrer de la fournaise ardente, et il nous délivrera de ta main, ô roi.

WLC ¹⁷ הֵ֣ן אִיתַ֗י אֱלָהַ֙נָא֙ דִּֽי־ אֲנַ֣חְנָא פָֽלְחִ֔ין יָכִ֖ל לְשֵׁיזָבוּתַ֑נָא מִן־ אַתּ֨וּן נוּרָ֧א יָקִֽדְתָּ֛א וּמִן־ יְדָ֥ךְ מַלְכָּ֖א יְשֵׁיזִֽב׃

KJV ¹⁸ But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

LSG ¹⁸ Sinon, sache, ô roi, que nous ne servirons pas tes dieux, et que nous n'adorerons pas la statue d'or que tu as élevée.

WLC ¹⁸ וְהֵ֣ן לָ֔א יְדִ֥יעַ לֶהֱוֵא־ לָ֖ךְ מַלְכָּ֑א דִּ֤י לָא־ פָֽלְחִ֔ין וּלְצֶ֧לֶם דַּהֲבָ֛א דִּ֥י הֲקֵ֖ימְתָּ לָ֥א נִסְגֻּֽד׃
