Ec 8:6-8 (King James)

   ⁶ Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him. ⁷ For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be? ⁸ There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

⁶ Oui, pour toute activité il y a un moment opportun et des règles, mais il y a un malheur qui accable l'homme: ⁷ il ne sait pas ce qui arrivera. Et qui lui annoncera comment cela arrivera? ⁸ L'homme n'est pas maître de son souffle pour pouvoir le retenir, et il n'exerce aucun contrôle sur le jour de sa mort. Il n'existe aucun moyen d'échapper à ce combat; même la méchanceté est incapable d'en délivrer son maître.
