DRB ¹⁰ Et l'Éternel parla encore à Achaz, disant :

VULC ¹⁰ Et adjecit Dominus loqui ad Achaz, dicens :

WLC ¹⁰ וַיּ֣וֹסֶף יְהוָ֔ה דַּבֵּ֥ר אֶל־ אָחָ֖ז לֵאמֹֽר׃

DRB ¹¹ Demande pour toi un signe de la part de l'Éternel, ton Dieu ; demande-le dans les lieux bas ou dans les hauteurs d'en haut.

KJV ¹¹ Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

LSG ¹¹ Demande en ta faveur un signe à l'Éternel, ton Dieu ; demande-le, soit dans les lieux bas, soit dans les lieux élevés.

VULC ¹¹ Pete tibi signum a Domino Deo tuo, in profundum inferni, sive in excelsum supra.

WLC ¹¹ שְׁאַל־ לְךָ֣ א֔וֹת מֵעִ֖ם יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ הַעְמֵ֣ק שְׁאָ֔לָה א֖וֹ הַגְבֵּ֥הַּ לְמָֽעְלָה׃

DRB ¹² Et Achaz dit : Je ne [le] demanderai pas, et je ne tenterai pas l'Éternel.

KJV ¹² But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

LSG ¹² Achaz répondit: Je ne demanderai rien, je ne tenterai pas l'Éternel.

VULC ¹² Et dixit Achaz : Non petam, et non tentabo Dominum.

WLC ¹² וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אָחָ֑ז לֹא־ אֶשְׁאַ֥ל וְלֹֽא־ אֲנַסֶּ֖ה אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃

DRB ¹³ Et il dit : Écoutez donc, maison de David : Est-ce peu de chose pour vous de lasser [la patience] des hommes, que vous lassiez aussi [la patience de] mon Dieu ?

KJV ¹³ And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

LSG ¹³ Ésaïe dit alors: Écoutez donc, maison de David ! Est-ce trop peu pour vous de lasser la patience des hommes, Que vous lassiez encore celle de mon Dieu ?

VULC ¹³ Et dixit : [Audite ergo, domus David.
Numquid parum vobis est molestos esse hominibus,
quia molesti estis et Deo meo ?

WLC ¹³ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שִׁמְעוּ־ נָ֖א בֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֑ד הַמְעַ֤ט מִכֶּם֙ הַלְא֣וֹת אֲנָשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י תַלְא֖וּ גַּ֥ם אֶת־ אֱלֹהָֽי׃

DRB ¹⁴ C'est pourquoi le Seigneur, lui, vous donnera un signe : Voici, la vierge concevra et elle enfantera un fils, et appellera son nom Emmanuel*.

KJV ¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

LSG ¹⁴ C'est pourquoi le Seigneur lui-même vous donnera un signe, Voici, la jeune fille deviendra enceinte, elle enfantera un fils, Et elle lui donnera le nom d'Emmanuel.

VULC ¹⁴ Propter hoc dabit Dominus ipse vobis signum :
ecce virgo concipiet, et pariet filium,
et vocabitur nomen ejus Emmanuel.

WLC ¹⁴ לָ֠כֵן יִתֵּ֨ן אֲדֹנָ֥י ה֛וּא לָכֶ֖ם א֑וֹת הִנֵּ֣ה הָעַלְמָ֗ה הָרָה֙ וְיֹלֶ֣דֶת בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥את שְׁמ֖וֹ עִמָּ֥נוּ אֵֽל׃

DRB ¹⁵ Il mangera du caillé* et du miel, pour savoir rejeter le mal et choisir le bien.

KJV ¹⁵ Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

LSG ¹⁵ Il mangera de la crème et du miel, Jusqu'à ce qu'il sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien.

VULC ¹⁵ Butyrum et mel comedet,
ut sciat reprobare malum, et eligere bonum.

WLC ¹⁵ חֶמְאָ֥ה וּדְבַ֖שׁ יֹאכֵ֑ל לְדַעְתּ֛וֹ מָא֥וֹס בָּרָ֖ע וּבָח֥וֹר בַּטּֽוֹב׃

DRB ¹⁶ Car avant que l'enfant sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien, le pays des deux rois duquel tu as peur* sera abandonné.

KJV ¹⁶ For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

LSG ¹⁶ Mais avant que l'enfant sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien, Le pays dont tu crains les deux rois sera abandonné.

VULC ¹⁶ Quia antequam sciat puer reprobare malum et eligere bonum,
derelinquetur terra quam tu detestaris a facie duorum regum suorum.

WLC ¹⁶ כִּ֠י בְּטֶ֨רֶם יֵדַ֥ע הַנַּ֛עַר מָאֹ֥ס בָּרָ֖ע וּבָחֹ֣ר בַּטּ֑וֹב תֵּעָזֵ֤ב הָאֲדָמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתָּ֣ה קָ֔ץ מִפְּנֵ֖י שְׁנֵ֥י מְלָכֶֽיהָ׃
