VULC 10 Et adjecit Dominus loqui ad Achaz, dicens :
KJV 11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

Numquid parum vobis est molestos esse hominibus,
quia molesti estis et Deo meo ?
KJV 14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
VULC 14 Propter hoc dabit Dominus ipse vobis signum :
ecce virgo concipiet, et pariet filium,
et vocabitur nomen ejus Emmanuel.
KJV 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

ut sciat reprobare malum, et eligere bonum.
KJV 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
