KJV ¹⁰ Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.

WLC ¹⁰ וַיִּקַּ֞ח חֲנַנְיָ֤ה הַנָּבִיא֙ אֶת־ הַמּוֹטָ֔ה מֵעַ֕ל צַוַּ֖אר יִרְמְיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֑יא וַֽיִּשְׁבְּרֵֽהוּ׃

BCC ¹¹ Et Hananias dit devant tout le peuple : ainsi parle Jéhovah : c'est ainsi que dans deux ans je briserai de dessus le cou de toutes les nations le joug de Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone. ‒ Et Jérémie le prophète s'en alla.

KJV ¹¹ And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

WLC ¹¹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חֲנַנְיָה֩ לְעֵינֵ֨י כָל־ הָעָ֜ם לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּה֮ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָה֒ כָּ֣כָה אֶשְׁבֹּ֞ר אֶת־ עֹ֣ל ׀ נְבֻֽכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר מֶֽלֶךְ־ בָּבֶ֗ל בְּעוֹד֙ שְׁנָתַ֣יִם יָמִ֔ים מֵעַ֕ל צַוַּ֖אר כָּל־ הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ יִרְמְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא לְדַרְכּֽוֹ׃

BCC ¹² Après que Hananias le prophète eut brisé le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie le prophète, la parole de Jéhovah fut adressée à Jérémie en ces termes :

KJV ¹² Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

WLC ¹² וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֑ה אַ֠חֲרֵי שְׁב֞וֹר חֲנַנְיָ֤ה הַנָּבִיא֙ אֶת־ הַמּוֹטָ֔ה מֵעַ֗ל צַוַּ֛אר יִרְמְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא לֵאמֹֽר׃

BCC ¹³ Va, dis à Hananias : ainsi parle Jéhovah : tu as brisé un joug de bois, et tu as fait à sa place un joug de fer.

KJV ¹³ Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.

WLC ¹³ הָלוֹךְ֩ וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֶל־ חֲנַנְיָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה מוֹטֹ֥ת עֵ֖ץ שָׁבָ֑רְתָּ וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ תַחְתֵּיהֶ֖ן מֹט֥וֹת בַּרְזֶֽל׃

BCC ¹⁴ Car ainsi parle Jéhovah des armées, Dieu d'Israël : Je mets un joug de fer sur le coude de toutes les nations, pour qu'elles soient assujetties à Nabuchodonosor, et elles lui seront assujetties ; je lui ai donné même les animaux des champs.

KJV ¹⁴ For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

WLC ¹⁴ כִּ֣י כֹֽה־ אָמַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל עֹ֣ל בַּרְזֶ֡ל נָתַ֜תִּי עַל־ צַוַּ֣אר ׀ כָּל־ הַגּוֹיִ֣ם הָאֵ֗לֶּה לַעֲבֹ֛ד אֶת־ נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר מֶֽלֶךְ־ בָּבֶ֖ל וַעֲבָדֻ֑הוּ וְגַ֛ם אֶת־ חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה נָתַ֥תִּי לֽוֹ׃

BCC ¹⁵ Puis Jérémie le prophète dit à Hananias le prophète : écoute, Hananias : Jéhovah ne t'a pas envoyé, et tu as fait que ce peuple se confie au mensonge.

KJV ¹⁵ Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

WLC ¹⁵ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יִרְמְיָ֧ה הַנָּבִ֛יא אֶל־ חֲנַנְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא שְׁמַֽע־ נָ֣א חֲנַנְיָ֑ה לֹֽא־ שְׁלָחֲךָ֣ יְהוָ֔ה וְאַתָּ֗ה הִבְטַ֛חְתָּ אֶת־ הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה עַל־ שָֽׁקֶר׃

BCC ¹⁶ C'est pourquoi ainsi parle Jéhovah : Je te renvoie de la face de la terre ; cette année même tu mourras, car tes paroles sont une révolte contre Jéhovah.

KJV ¹⁶ Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

WLC ¹⁶ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה הִנְנִי֙ מְשַֽׁלֵּֽחֲךָ֔ מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֣י הָאֲדָמָ֑ה הַשָּׁנָה֙ אַתָּ֣ה מֵ֔ת כִּֽי־ סָרָ֥ה דִבַּ֖רְתָּ אֶל־ יְהוָֽה׃

BCC ¹⁷ Et Hananias le prophète mourut cette même année, au septième mois.

KJV ¹⁷ So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

WLC ¹⁷ וַיָּ֛מָת חֲנַנְיָ֥ה הַנָּבִ֖יא בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַהִ֑יא בַּחֹ֖דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃
