KJV ¹⁰ Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.

KJV ¹¹ And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

S21 ¹¹ Puis il dit en présence de tout le peuple: «Voici ce que dit l'Eternel: C'est de cette façon que, dans deux ans, je briserai la domination exercée par Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, sur toutes les nations.» Le prophète Jérémie poursuivit alors son chemin.

KJV ¹² Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

S21 ¹² La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jérémie après que le prophète Hanania eut brisé la barre qui se trouvait sur son cou:

KJV ¹³ Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.

S21 ¹³ «Va annoncer à Hanania: ‘Voici ce que dit l'Eternel: Tu as brisé des barres en bois? Pour les remplacer, tu devras faire des barres en fer.

KJV ¹⁴ For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

S21 ¹⁴ En effet, voici ce que dit l'Eternel, le maître de l'univers, le Dieu d'Israël: C'est une domination inflexible que j'ai imposée à toutes ces nations pour qu'elles soient asservies à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et elles seront effectivement ses esclaves; je lui ai même donné les animaux sauvages.'»

KJV ¹⁵ Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

S21 ¹⁵ Le prophète Jérémie dit alors au prophète Hanania: «Ecoute donc, Hanania! L'Eternel ne t'a pas envoyé et tu as donné un sentiment de confiance trompeur à ce peuple.

KJV ¹⁶ Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

S21 ¹⁶ C'est pourquoi, voici ce que dit l'Eternel: ‘Je vais te chasser de cette terre; tu mourras cette année, car par tes paroles tu as appelé les autres à se détourner de l'Eternel.'»

KJV ¹⁷ So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

S21 ¹⁷ Le prophète Hanania mourut le septième mois de cette année-là.
