DRB ⁶ Et Jérémie dit : La parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant :

KJV ⁶ And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

VULC ⁶ Et dixit Jeremias : Factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens :

WLC ⁶ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ הָיָ֥ה דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

DRB ⁷ Voici, Hanameël, fils de Shallum ton oncle, vient vers toi, disant : Achète-toi mon champ qui est à Anathoth, car le droit de rachat est à toi pour l'acheter.

KJV ⁷ Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it.

VULC ⁷ Ecce Hanameel filius Sellum, patruelis tuus, veniet ad te, dicens : Eme tibi agrum meum qui est in Anathoth, tibi enim competit ex propinquitate ut emas.

WLC ⁷ הִנֵּ֣ה חֲנַמְאֵ֗ל בֶּן־ שַׁלֻּם֙ דֹּֽדְךָ֔ בָּ֥א אֵלֶ֖יךָ לֵאמֹ֑ר קְנֵ֣ה לְךָ֗ אֶת־ שָׂדִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּעֲנָת֔וֹת כִּ֥י לְךָ֛ מִשְׁפַּ֥ט הַגְּאֻלָּ֖ה לִקְנֽוֹת׃

DRB ⁸ Et Hanameël, fils de mon oncle, vint vers moi, selon la parole de l'Éternel, dans la cour de la prison, et me dit : Achète, je te prie, mon champ qui est à Anathoth, dans le pays de Benjamin, car à toi est le droit d'héritage, et à toi le rachat : achète-le pour toi. Et je connus que c'était la parole de l'Éternel.

KJV ⁸ So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

VULC ⁸ Et venit ad me Hanameel filius patrui mei, secundum verbum Domini, ad vestibulum carceris, et ait ad me : Posside agrum meum qui est in Anathoth, in terra Benjamin, quia tibi competit hæreditas, et tu propinquus es ut possideas. Intellexi autem quod verbum Domini esset :

WLC ⁸ וַיָּבֹ֣א אֵ֠לַי חֲנַמְאֵ֨ל בֶּן־ דֹּדִ֜י כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־ חֲצַ֣ר הַמַּטָּרָה֒ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֡י קְנֵ֣ה נָ֠א אֶת־ שָׂדִ֨י אֲשֶׁר־ בַּעֲנָת֜וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֗ין כִּֽי־ לְךָ֞ מִשְׁפַּ֧ט הַיְרֻשָּׁ֛ה וּלְךָ֥ הַגְּאֻלָּ֖ה קְנֵה־ לָ֑ךְ וָאֵדַ֕ע כִּ֥י דְבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה הֽוּא׃

DRB ⁹ Et j'achetai de Hanameël, fils de mon oncle, le champ qui est à Anathoth ; et je lui pesai l'argent, dix-sept sicles d'argent ;

KJV ⁹ And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.

VULC ⁹ et emi agrum ab Hanameel filio patrui mei, qui est in Anathoth, et appendi ei argentum : septem stateres, et decem argenteos.

WLC ⁹ וָֽאֶקְנֶה֙ אֶת־ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה מֵאֵ֛ת חֲנַמְאֵ֥ל בֶּן־ דֹּדִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּעֲנָת֑וֹת וָֽאֶשְׁקֲלָה־ לּוֹ֙ אֶת־ הַכֶּ֔סֶף שִׁבְעָ֥ה שְׁקָלִ֖ים וַעֲשָׂרָ֥ה הַכָּֽסֶף׃

DRB ¹⁰ et j'en écrivis la lettre, et je la scellai, et je la fis attester par des témoins, et je pesai l'argent dans la balance ;

KJV ¹⁰ And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.

VULC ¹⁰ Et scripsi in libro, et signavi, et adhibui testes, et appendi argentum in statera.

WLC ¹⁰ וָאֶכְתֹּ֤ב בַּסֵּ֙פֶר֙ וָֽאֶחְתֹּ֔ם וָאָעֵ֖ד עֵדִ֑ים וָאֶשְׁקֹ֥ל הַכֶּ֖סֶף בְּמֹאזְנָֽיִם׃

DRB ¹¹ et je pris la lettre d'achat, celle qui était scellée [selon] le commandement et les statuts, et celle qui était ouverte ;

KJV ¹¹ So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:

VULC ¹¹ Et accepi librum possessionis signatum, et stipulationes, et rata, et signa forinsecus :

WLC ¹¹ וָאֶקַּ֖ח אֶת־ סֵ֣פֶר הַמִּקְנָ֑ה אֶת־ הֶֽחָת֛וּם הַמִּצְוָ֥ה וְהַחֻקִּ֖ים וְאֶת־ הַגָּלֽוּי׃

DRB ¹² et je donnai la lettre d'achat à Baruc, fils de Nérija, fils de Makhséïa, sous les yeux de Hanameël [le fils de] mon oncle*, et sous les yeux des témoins qui avaient signé à la lettre d'achat, [et] sous les yeux de tous les Juifs qui étaient assis dans la cour de la prison.

KJV ¹² And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.

VULC ¹² et dedi librum possessionis Baruch filio Neri filii Maasiæ, in oculis Hanameel patruelis mei, in oculis testium qui scripti erant in libro emptionis, et in oculis omnium Judæorum qui sedebant in atrio carceris.

WLC ¹² וָאֶתֵּ֞ן אֶת־ הַסֵּ֣פֶר הַמִּקְנָ֗ה אֶל־ בָּר֣וּךְ בֶּן־ נֵרִיָּה֮ בֶּן־ מַחְסֵיָה֒ לְעֵינֵי֙ חֲנַמְאֵ֣ל דֹּדִ֔י וּלְעֵינֵי֙ הָֽעֵדִ֔ים הַכֹּתְבִ֖ים בְּסֵ֣פֶר הַמִּקְנָ֑ה לְעֵינֵי֙ כָּל־ הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בַּחֲצַ֥ר הַמַּטָּרָֽה׃

DRB ¹³ Et je commandai sous leurs yeux à Baruc, disant :

KJV ¹³ And I charged Baruch before them, saying,

VULC ¹³ Et præcepi Baruch coram eis, dicens :

WLC ¹³ וָֽאֲצַוֶּה֙ אֶת בָּר֔וּךְ לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃

DRB ¹⁴ Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : Prends ces lettres, cette lettre d'achat, celle qui est scellée, et cette lettre ouverte, et mets-les dans un vase de terre, afin qu'elles se conservent beaucoup de jours.

KJV ¹⁴ Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

VULC ¹⁴ Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Sume libros istos, librum emptionis hunc signatum, et librum hunc qui apertus est, et pone illos in vase fictili, ut permanere possint diebus multis :

WLC ¹⁴ כֹּֽה־ אָמַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לָק֣וֹחַ אֶת־ הַסְּפָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֡לֶּה אֵ֣ת סֵפֶר֩ הַמִּקְנָ֨ה הַזֶּ֜ה וְאֵ֣ת הֶחָת֗וּם וְאֵ֨ת סֵ֤פֶר הַגָּלוּי֙ הַזֶּ֔ה וּנְתַתָּ֖ם בִּכְלִי־ חָ֑רֶשׂ לְמַ֥עַן יַעַמְד֖וּ יָמִ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃

DRB ¹⁵ Car ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : On achètera encore des maisons, et des champs, et des vignes, dans ce pays.

KJV ¹⁵ For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

VULC ¹⁵ hæc enim dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël : Adhuc possidebuntur domus, et agri, et vineæ in terra ista.

WLC ¹⁵ כִּ֣י כֹ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ע֣וֹד יִקָּנ֥וּ בָתִּ֛ים וְשָׂד֥וֹת וּכְרָמִ֖ים בָּאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃
