KJV ⁷ Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

MAR ⁷ Et tous les Capitaines des gens de guerre qui étaient à la campagne, eux et leurs gens entendirent que le Roi de Babylone avait commis Guédalia fils d'Ahikam sur le pays, et qu'il lui avait commis les hommes, et les femmes, et les enfants, et cela d'entre les plus pauvres du pays, [savoir] de ceux qui n'avaient pas été transportés à Babylone.
