Lv 20:7-27 (King James)

⁷ Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. ⁸ And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you. ⁹ For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
   ¹⁰ And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. ¹¹ And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. ¹² And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them. ¹³ If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. ¹⁴ And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you. ¹⁵ And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast. ¹⁶ And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. ¹⁷ And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity. ¹⁸ And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people. ¹⁹ And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity. ²⁰ And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. ²¹ And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
   ²² Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out. ²³ And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. ²⁴ But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people. ²⁵ Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. ²⁶ And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. ²⁷ A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

⁷ Vous vous consacrerez et vous serez saints, car je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu. ⁸ Vous respecterez mes prescriptions et vous les mettrez en pratique. Je suis l'Eternel qui vous considère comme saints.
⁹ »*Si quelqu'un maudit son père ou sa mère, il sera puni de mort; il a maudit son père ou sa mère, son sang retombera sur lui. ¹⁰ Si un homme commet un adultère avec une femme mariée, s'il commet un adultère avec la femme de son prochain, l'homme et la femme adultères seront punis de mort. ¹¹ Si un homme couche avec la femme de son père et dévoile ainsi la nudité de son père, cet homme et cette femme seront punis de mort, leur sang retombera sur eux. ¹² Si un homme couche avec sa belle-fille, ils seront tous deux punis de mort. Ils ont commis un acte abominable, leur sang retombera sur eux.
¹³ »Si un homme couche avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme, ils commettent tous deux un acte abominable. Ils seront punis de mort, leur sang retombera sur eux. ¹⁴ Si un homme épouse la fille et la mère, c'est un crime. On les brûlera au feu, elles et lui, afin que ce crime n'existe pas au milieu de vous.
¹⁵ »Si un homme couche avec une bête, il sera puni de mort et vous tuerez la bête. ¹⁶ Si une femme s'approche d'une bête pour se prostituer à elle, tu tueras la femme et la bête. Elles seront mises à mort, leur sang retombera sur elles.
¹⁷ »Si un homme épouse sa sœur, fille de son père ou de sa mère, s'il voit sa nudité et qu'elle voie la sienne, c'est une honte; ils seront exclus sous les yeux des membres de leur peuple. Il a dévoilé la nudité de sa sœur, il supportera les conséquences de sa faute. ¹⁸ Si un homme couche avec une femme qui a ses règles et dévoile sa nudité, il expose la perte de sang de la femme et elle-même l'expose. Ils seront tous deux exclus du milieu de leur peuple. ¹⁹ Tu ne dévoileras pas la nudité de la sœur de ta mère ni celle de la sœur de ton père, car celui qui fait cela met à nu sa proche parente. Ils supporteront les conséquences de leur faute.
²⁰ »Si un homme couche avec sa tante, il dévoile la nudité de son oncle. Ils supporteront les conséquences de leur péché: ils mourront sans enfant. ²¹ Si un homme épouse la femme de son frère, c'est une souillure. Il a dévoilé la nudité de son frère, ils resteront sans enfant.
²² »Vous respecterez toutes mes prescriptions et toutes mes règles, vous les mettrez en pratique, afin que le pays où je vous conduis pour vous y établir ne vous vomisse pas. ²³ Vous ne suivrez pas les coutumes des nations que je vais chasser devant vous, car elles ont fait cela et je les ai en horreur. ²⁴ Je vous ai dit: ‘C'est vous qui posséderez leur pays, c'est moi qui vous le donnerai en possession. C'est un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.' Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés des autres peuples.
²⁵ »Vous respecterez la distinction entre les animaux purs et impurs, entre les oiseaux purs et impurs, afin de ne pas vous rendre vous-mêmes abominables par des animaux, des oiseaux et tous les reptiles de la terre que je vous ai appris à distinguer comme impurs. ²⁶ Vous serez saints pour moi, car je suis saint, moi, l'Eternel. Je vous ai séparés des autres peuples afin que vous m'apparteniez.
²⁷ »Si un homme ou une femme a en lui l'esprit d'un mort ou un esprit de divination, il sera puni de mort. On le lapidera, son sang retombera sur lui.»
