KJV ⁸ When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;

TR1550 ⁸ ὅταν κληθῇς ὑπό τινος εἰς γάμους μὴ κατακλιθῇς εἰς τὴν πρωτοκλισίαν μήποτε ἐντιμότερός σου ᾖ κεκλημένος ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ

BCC ⁹ et celui qui vous aurait invités l'un et l'autre viendrait te dire : "cède-lui la place, " et alors tu n'aurais, avec confusion, qu'à occuper la dernière place.

KJV ⁹ And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.

TR1550 ⁹ καὶ ἐλθὼν ὁ σὲ καὶ αὐτὸν καλέσας ἐρεῖ σοι δὸς τούτῳ τόπον καὶ τότε ἄρξῃ μετ᾽ αἰσχύνης τὸν ἔσχατον τόπον κατέχειν
