KJV ¹¹ And he said, A certain man had two sons:

TR1550 ¹¹ εἶπεν δέ ἄνθρωπός τις εἶχεν δύο υἱούς

BCC ¹² Le plus jeune dit à son père : "mon père, donne-moi la part de biens qui doit me revenir. " Et il leur partagea son avoir.

KJV ¹² And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

TR1550 ¹² καὶ εἶπεν ὁ νεώτερος αὐτῶν τῷ πατρί πάτερ δός μοι τὸ ἐπιβάλλον μέρος τῆς οὐσίας καὶ διεῖλεν αὐτοῖς τὸν βίον

BCC ¹³ Peu de jours après, le plus jeune fils, ayant tout réalisé, partit pour un pays lointain, et il y dissipa son bien en menant une vie de prodigue.

KJV ¹³ And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

TR1550 ¹³ καὶ μετ᾽ οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας συναγαγὼν ἅπαντα ὁ νεώτερος υἱὸς ἀπεδήμησεν εἰς χώραν μακράν καὶ ἐκεῖ διεσκόρπισεν τὴν οὐσίαν αὐτοῦ ζῶν ἀσώτως

BCC ¹⁴ Lorsqu'il eut tout dépensé, survint une grande famine dans ce pays, et il commença à sentir le besoin.

KJV ¹⁴ And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

TR1550 ¹⁴ δαπανήσαντος δὲ αὐτοῦ πάντα ἐγένετο λιμὸς ἰσχυρὸς κατὰ τὴν χώραν ἐκείνην καὶ αὐτὸς ἤρξατο ὑστερεῖσθαι

BCC ¹⁵ Et il alla se mettre au service d'un habitant de ce pays, qui l'envoya dans ses champs paître des porc.

KJV ¹⁵ And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

TR1550 ¹⁵ καὶ πορευθεὶς ἐκολλήθη ἑνὶ τῶν πολιτῶν τῆς χώρας ἐκείνης καὶ ἔπεμψεν αὐτὸν εἰς τοὺς ἀγροὺς αὐτοῦ βόσκειν χοίρους

BCC ¹⁶ Et il eût bien voulu se remplir le ventre des caroubes que mangeaient les porcs, mais personne ne lui en donnait.

KJV ¹⁶ And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

TR1550 ¹⁶ καὶ ἐπεθύμει γεμίσαι τὴν κοιλίαν αὑτοῦ ἀπὸ τῶν κερατίων ὧν ἤσθιον οἱ χοῖροι καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδίδου αὐτῷ

BCC ¹⁷ Alors, rentrant en lui-même, il dit : "combien de mercenaires de mon père ont du pain en trop, et moi, ici, je meurs de faim ! "

KJV ¹⁷ And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

TR1550 ¹⁷ εἰς ἑαυτὸν δὲ ἐλθὼν εἶπεν πόσοι μίσθιοι τοῦ πατρός μου περισσεύουσιν ἄρτων ἐγὼ δὲ λιμῷ ἀπόλλυμαι

BCC ¹⁸ Je me lèverai et j'irai à mon père, et je lui dirai : Mon père, j'ai péché contre le ciel et envers toi ;

KJV ¹⁸ I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

TR1550 ¹⁸ ἀναστὰς πορεύσομαι πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ ἐρῶ αὐτῷ πάτερ ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου

BCC ¹⁹ je ne suis plus digne d'être appelé ton fils : traite-moi comme l'un de tes mercenaires. "

KJV ¹⁹ And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

TR1550 ¹⁹ καὶ οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου ποίησόν με ὡς ἕνα τῶν μισθίων σου

BCC ²⁰ Et il se leva et alla vers son père.

Comme il était encore loin, son père le vit ; et, touché de compassion, il courut, se jeta à son cou, et le couvrit de baisers.

KJV ²⁰ And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

BCC ²¹ Le fils lui dit : "mon père, j'ai péché contre le ciel et envers toi ; je ne suis plus digne d'être appelé ton fils."

KJV ²¹ And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

BCC ²² Mais le père dit à ses serviteurs : "vite, apportez la plus belle robe et l'en revêtez ; mettez-lui un anneau au doigt et des chaussures aux pieds ;

KJV ²² But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

BCC ²³ et amenez le veau gras, tuez-le ; et mangeons, festoyons :

KJV ²³ And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

TR1550 ²³ καὶ ἐνέγκαντες τὸν μόσχον τὸν σιτευτόν θύσατε καὶ φαγόντες εὐφρανθῶμεν

BCC ²⁴ car mon fils que voici était mort, et il est revenu à la vie ; il était perdu, et il a été retrouvé." Et ils se mirent à festoyer.

KJV ²⁴ For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

BCC ²⁵ Or son fils aîné était aux champs. Quand, à son retour, il approcha de la maison, il entendit de la musique et des choeurs.

KJV ²⁵ Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

BCC ²⁶ Ayant appelé un des serviteurs, il s'enquit de ce que cela pouvait être.

KJV ²⁶ And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

TR1550 ²⁶ καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος ἕνα τῶν παίδων αὐτοῦ ἐπυνθάνετο τί εἴη ταῦτα

BCC ²⁷ L'autre lui dit : "votre frère est arrivé, et votre père a tué le veau gras, parce qu'il l'a recouvré bien portant. "

KJV ²⁷ And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

TR1550 ²⁷ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὅτι ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἥκει καὶ ἔθυσεν ὁ πατήρ σου τὸν μόσχον τὸν σιτευτόν ὅτι ὑγιαίνοντα αὐτὸν ἀπέλαβεν

BCC ²⁸ Mais il se mit en colère, et il ne voulait pas entrer. Son père sortit pour l'en prier.

KJV ²⁸ And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

TR1550 ²⁸ ὠργίσθη δὲ καὶ οὐκ ἤθελεν εἰσελθεῖν ὁ οὖν πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἐξελθὼν παρεκάλει αὐτόν

BCC ²⁹ Et il répondit à son père : "voilà tant d'années que je te sers, sans avoir jamais transgressé un ordre de toi, et jamais tu ne m'as donné, à moi, un chevreau pour festoyer avec mes amis.

KJV ²⁹ And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

TR1550 ²⁹ ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν τῷ πατρὶ ἰδού, τοσαῦτα ἔτη δουλεύω σοι καὶ οὐδέποτε ἐντολήν σου παρῆλθον καὶ ἐμοὶ οὐδέποτε ἔδωκας ἔριφον ἵνα μετὰ τῶν φίλων μου εὐφρανθῶ

BCC ³⁰ Mais, quand est revenu ton fils que voilà, qui a dévoré ton avoir avec des courtisanes, tu as tué pour lui le veau gras ! "

KJV ³⁰ But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

TR1550 ³⁰ ὅτε δὲ ὁ υἱός σου οὗτος ὁ καταφαγών σου τὸν βίον μετὰ πορνῶν ἦλθεν ἔθυσας αὐτῷ τὸν μόσχον τὸν σιτευτὸν

BCC ³¹ Il lui dit : "toi, mon enfant, tu es toujours avec moi, et tout ce qui est à moi est à toi.

KJV ³¹ And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

TR1550 ³¹ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῷ τέκνον σὺ πάντοτε μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἶ καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐμὰ σά ἐστιν

BCC ³² Mais il fallait festoyer et se réjouir, car ton frère que voici était mort, et il est revenu à la vie ; il était perdu, et il a été retrouvé. "

KJV ³² It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

TR1550 ³² εὐφρανθῆναι δὲ καὶ χαρῆναι ἔδει ὅτι ὁ ἀδελφός σου οὗτος νεκρὸς ἦν καὶ ἀνέζησεν καὶ ἀπολωλὼς ἦν, καὶ εὑρέθη
