BAN ⁸ Et il y avait dans la même contrée des bergers qui demeuraient aux champs et gardaient leurs troupeaux pendant les veilles de la nuit.

BAN ⁹ Et un ange du Seigneur se présenta à eux, et la gloire du Seigneur resplendit autour d'eux, et ils furent saisis d'une grande crainte.

BAN ¹⁰ Et l'ange leur dit : Ne craignez point, car voici je vous annonce la bonne nouvelle d'une grande joie, qui sera pour tout le peuple :

BAN ¹¹ C'est qu'aujourd'hui, dans la ville de David, vous est né un Sauveur, qui est Christ, Seigneur.

KJV ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

TR1550 ¹¹ ὅτι ἐτέχθη ὑμῖν σήμερον σωτὴρ ὅς ἐστιν χριστὸς κύριος ἐν πόλει δαβίδ

BAN ¹² Et ceci en sera pour vous le signe : vous trouverez un petit enfant emmailloté dans une crèche.

KJV ¹² And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

TR1550 ¹² καὶ τοῦτο ὑμῖν τὸ σημεῖον εὑρήσετε βρέφος ἐσπαργανωμένον κείμενον ἐν τῇ φάτνῃ

BAN ¹³ Et soudain, il y eut, avec l'ange, une multitude de l'armée céleste, louant Dieu et disant :

TR1550 ¹³ καὶ ἐξαίφνης ἐγένετο σὺν τῷ ἀγγέλῳ πλῆθος στρατιᾶς οὐρανίου αἰνούντων τὸν θεὸν καὶ λεγόντων

BAN ¹⁴ Gloire à Dieu, dans les lieux très hauts et paix sur la terre ! bienveillance envers les hommes !

KJV ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

TR1550 ¹⁴ δόξα ἐν ὑψίστοις θεῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς εἰρήνη ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκία

BAN ¹⁵ Et il arriva, lorsque les anges s'en furent allés d'avec eux dans le ciel, que les bergers se dirent les uns aux autres : Allons donc jusqu'à Bethléhem, et voyons cet événement qui est arrivé et que le Seigneur nous a fait connaître.

KJV ¹⁵ And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

BAN ¹⁶ Et ils y allèrent en hâte, et ils trouvèrent Marie et Joseph, et le petit enfant couché dans la crèche.

KJV ¹⁶ And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

BAN ¹⁷ Et l'ayant vu, ils firent connaître la parole qui leur avait été dite au sujet de ce petit enfant,

KJV ¹⁷ And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

TR1550 ¹⁷ ἰδόντες δὲ διεγνώρισαν περὶ τοῦ ῥήματος τοῦ λαληθέντος αὐτοῖς περὶ τοῦ παιδίου τούτου

BAN ¹⁸ Et tous ceux qui entendirent furent dans l'étonnement des choses qui leur étaient dites par les bergers.

KJV ¹⁸ And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

TR1550 ¹⁸ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἀκούσαντες ἐθαύμασαν περὶ τῶν λαληθέντων ὑπὸ τῶν ποιμένων πρὸς αὐτούς

BAN ¹⁹ Mais Marie conservait toutes ces choses, les repassant dans son coeur.

KJV ¹⁹ But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

TR1550 ¹⁹ ἡ δὲ μαριὰμ πάντα συνετήρει τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα συμβάλλουσα ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῆς

BAN ²⁰ Et les bergers s'en retournèrent, glorifiant et louant Dieu de tout ce qu'ils avaient entendu et vu, conformément à ce qui leur avait été dit.

KJV ²⁰ And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

TR1550 ²⁰ καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν οἱ ποιμένες δοξάζοντες καὶ αἰνοῦντες τὸν θεὸν ἐπὶ πᾶσιν οἷς ἤκουσαν καὶ εἶδον καθὼς ἐλαλήθη πρὸς αὐτούς
