BAN ²¹ Toutefois, voici, la main de celui qui me livre est avec moi à table,

KJV ²¹ But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

BAN ²² parce que le fils de l'homme s'en va, il est vrai, selon ce qui a été déterminé, toutefois malheur à cet homme par qui il est livré !

KJV ²² And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

BAN ²³ Et eux commencèrent à se demander les uns aux autres, qui était celui d'entre eux qui ferait cela.

KJV ²³ And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

BAN ²⁴ Or il s'éleva aussi une contestation parmi eux, pour savoir lequel d'entre eux était estimé le plus grand.

KJV ²⁴ And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

BAN ²⁵ Mais il leur dit : Les rois des nations les asservissent ; et ceux qui exercent leur puissance sur elles sont appelés bienfaiteurs.

KJV ²⁵ And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

BAN ²⁶ Mais pour vous, qu'il n'en soit pas ainsi ! Au contraire, que le plus grand parmi vous soit comme le plus petit, et celui qui gouverne comme celui qui sert.

KJV ²⁶ But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

BAN ²⁷ Car, qui est le plus grand, celui qui est à table ou celui qui sert ? N'est-ce pas celui qui est à table ? Et moi, je suis au milieu de vous comme celui qui sert !

KJV ²⁷ For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

BAN ²⁸ Mais vous, vous êtes ceux qui avez persévéré avec moi dans mes épreuves.

KJV ²⁸ Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

BAN ²⁹ Et moi, je dispose en votre faveur du royaume, comme mon Père en a disposé en ma faveur ;

KJV ²⁹ And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

BAN ³⁰ afin que vous mangiez et que vous buviez à ma table dans mon royaume, et que vous soyez assis sur des trônes, jugeant les douze tribus d'Israël.

KJV ³⁰ That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

BAN ³¹ Mais le Seigneur dit : Simon, Simon, voici, Satan vous a demandés pour vous cribler comme le blé ;

KJV ³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

BAN ³² mais moi, j'ai prié pour toi, afin que ta foi ne défaille point. Et toi, quand tu seras une fois converti, affermis tes frères.

KJV ³² But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

BAN ³³ Et Pierre lui dit : Seigneur, je suis tout prêt à aller avec toi, et en prison et à la mort.

KJV ³³ And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

BAN ³⁴ Mais il lui dit : Je te dis, Pierre, que le coq ne chantera point aujourd'hui, qu'auparavant tu n'aies nié trois fois de me connaître.

KJV ³⁴ And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

BAN ³⁵ Puis il leur dit : Lorsque je vous ai envoyés sans bourse, et sans sac, et sans souliers, avez-vous manqué de quelque chose ? Et ils dirent : De rien.

KJV ³⁵ And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

BAN ³⁶ Mais il leur dit : Maintenant, au contraire, que celui qui a une bourse la prenne ; de même aussi celui qui a un sac ; et que celui qui n'en a point vende son manteau et achète une épée.

KJV ³⁶ Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

BAN ³⁷ Car je vous dis que ceci qui est écrit : Et il a été compté parmi les iniques, doit s'accomplir en moi ; en effet, ce qui me concerne touche à sa fin.

KJV ³⁷ For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

BAN ³⁸ Et ils dirent : Seigneur, voici deux épées. Mais il leur dit : Cela suffit.

KJV ³⁸ And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
