BCC ³ Le diable lui dit : "si vous êtes le fils de Dieu, dites à cette pierre qu'elle devienne du pain. "

KJV ⁵ And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

BCC ⁶ et le diable lui dit : "Je vous donnerai toute cette puissance avec leur gloire, car elle m'a été remise et je la donne à qui je veux.

KJV ⁶ And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

BCC ⁷ Si donc vous vous prosternez devant moi, elle sera toute à vous."

KJV ⁷ If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

BCC ⁹ Il le conduisit à Jérusalem, et le posa sur le pinacle du temple et lui dit : "si vous êtes Fils de Dieu, jetez-vous d'ici en bas ;

BCC ¹⁰ car il est écrit : Il donnera pour vous des ordres à ses anges pour vous garder,

BCC ¹¹ et : Ils vous prendront sur leurs mains, de peur que votre pied ne heurte contre une pierre."

KJV ¹¹ And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

KJV ¹² And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

KJV ¹³ And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
