Lc 6:46-49 (Catholique Crampon)

⁴⁶ Pourquoi m'appelez-vous : " Seigneur, Seigneur ! " et ne faites-vous pas ce que je dis ? ⁴⁷ Quiconque vient à moi, entend mes paroles et les met en pratique, je vous montrerai à qui il est semblable. ⁴⁸ Il est semblable à un homme qui bâtit une maison, qui a creusé bien avant, et en a posé le fondement sur le roc ; une inondation étant survenue, le torrent s'est rué contre cette maison, et il n'a pu l'ébranler, parce qu'elle était bien bâtie. ⁴⁹ Mais celui qui entend et qui ne met pas en pratique est semblable à un homme qui a bâti sa maison sur le sol, sans fondement ; le torrent s'est rué contre elle, et elle s'est écroulée aussitôt, et grande a été la ruine de cette maison. "

⁴⁶ And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? ⁴⁷ Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: ⁴⁸ He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. ⁴⁹ But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
