BCC ¹ Une autre fois, il se mit à enseigner au bord de la mer. Une si grande foule s'assembla auprès de lui qu'il monta dans une barque, où il s'assit sur la mer, tandis que toute la foule était à terre, vers la ver.

KJV ¹ And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

BCC ² Et il leur enseignait beaucoup de choses en paraboles, et il leur disait dans son enseignement :

KJV ² And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

BCC ³ "Écoutez ! Voici que le semeur sortit pour semer.

KJV ³ Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

BCC ⁴ Or, pendant qu'il semait, du (grain) tomba le long du chemin, et les oiseaux vinrent et le mangèrent.

KJV ⁴ And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

BCC ⁵ D'autre tomba sur un endroit pierreux, où il n'avait pas beaucoup de terre, et il leva aussitôt, parce que la terre était peu profonde ;

KJV ⁵ And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

BCC ⁶ mais, quand le soleil fut levé, il fut brûlé, et parce qu'il n'avait pas de racine, il se dessécha.

KJV ⁶ But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

BCC ⁷ D'autre tomba parmi les épines, et les épines montèrent et l'étouffèrent, et il ne donna point de fruit.

KJV ⁷ And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

BCC ⁸ Et d'autres tombèrent dans la bonne terre, montèrent et crûrent, donnèrent du fruit et rapportèrent l'un trente, un autre soixante, un autre cent."

KJV ⁸ And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

BCC ⁹ et il disait : "qui a des oreilles pour entendre entende !"

KJV ⁹ And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

BCC ¹⁰ Lorsqu'il se trouva seul, ceux de son entourage, avec les Douze, l'interrogèrent sur les paraboles.

KJV ¹⁰ And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

BCC ¹¹ Il leur dit : "à vous a été donné le mystère du royaume de Dieu ; mais pour eux, qui sont dehors, tout vient en paraboles,

KJV ¹¹ And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

BCC ¹² pour que regardant bien ils ne voient point, qu'écoutant bien ils ne comprennent point, de peur qu'ils ne se convertissent et qu'il ne leur soit pardonné."

KJV ¹² That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

BCC ¹³ Il ajouta : "vous ne comprenez pas cette parabole ? Alors comment comprendrez-vous toutes les paraboles ?

KJV ¹³ And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

BCC ¹⁴ Le semeur sème la parole.

KJV ¹⁴ The sower soweth the word.

BCC ¹⁵ Les uns sont ceux qui sont le long du chemin, où la parole est semée : ils ne l'ont pas plus tôt entendue que Satan vient et enlève la parole semée en eux.

KJV ¹⁵ And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

BCC ¹⁶ D'autres sont, pareillement, ceux qui sont semés sur les endroits pierreux : en entendant la parole, ils la reçoivent aussitôt avec joie ;

KJV ¹⁶ And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

BCC ¹⁷ mais il n'y a pas en eux de racines et ils sont éphémères : dès que survient la tribulation ou la persécution à cause de la parole, ils trébuchent aussitôt.

KJV ¹⁷ And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

BCC ¹⁸ D'autres sont ceux qui sont semés dans les épines : ce sont ceux qui ont entendu la parole ;

KJV ¹⁸ And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

BCC ¹⁹ mais les sollicitudes du siècle, et la séduction des richesses, et les convoitises d'autre sorte s'introduisent et étouffent la parole, et elle devient stérile.

KJV ¹⁹ And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

BCC ²⁰ Et d'autres sont ceux qui ont été semés dans la bonne terre : ils entendent la parole et la reçoivent, et ils portent du fruit, trente, soixante, cent (pour un)."

KJV ²⁰ And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
