BCC ³ Il envoya ses serviteurs appeler ceux qui avaient été invités aux noces, et ils ne voulurent pas venir.

KJV ³ And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

TR1550 ³ καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ καλέσαι τοὺς κεκλημένους εἰς τοὺς γάμους καὶ οὐκ ἤθελον ἐλθεῖν

BCC ⁴ Il envoya encore d'autres serviteurs, disant : " Dites aux invités : Voilà que j'ai préparé mon festin ; on a tué mes boeufs et mes animaux gras ; tout est prêt : venez aux noces. "

KJV ⁴ Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

TR1550 ⁴ πάλιν ἀπέστειλεν ἄλλους δούλους λέγων εἴπατε τοῖς κεκλημένοις ἰδού τὸ ἄριστόν μου ἡτοίμασα οἱ ταῦροί μου καὶ τὰ σιτιστὰ τεθυμένα καὶ πάντα ἕτοιμα δεῦτε εἰς τοὺς γάμους

BCC ⁵ Mais ils n'en tinrent pas compte, et ils s'en allèrent, l'un à son champ, l'autre à son négoce ;

KJV ⁵ But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

BCC ⁶ et les autres se saisirent des serviteurs, les outragèrent et les tuèrent.

KJV ⁶ And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

BCC ⁷ Le roi entra en colère, envoya ses armées, extermina ces meurtriers et brûla leur ville.

KJV ⁷ But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

BCC ⁸ Alors il dit à ses serviteurs : " La noce est prête, mais les invités n'en étaient pas dignes.

KJV ⁸ Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

TR1550 ⁸ τότε λέγει τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ ὁ μὲν γάμος ἕτοιμός ἐστιν οἱ δὲ κεκλημένοι οὐκ ἦσαν ἄξιοι

BCC ⁹ Allez donc aux carrefours des chemins, et tous ceux que vous trouverez, invitez-les aux noces. "

KJV ⁹ Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

TR1550 ⁹ πορεύεσθε οὖν ἐπὶ τὰς διεξόδους τῶν ὁδῶν καὶ ὅσους ἂν εὕρητε καλέσατε εἰς τοὺς γάμους

BCC ¹⁰ Ces serviteurs sortirent sur les chemins, rassemblèrent tous ceux qu'ils trouvèrent, mauvais et bons ; et la salle des noces fut remplie de convives.

KJV ¹⁰ So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

TR1550 ¹⁰ καὶ ἐξελθόντες οἱ δοῦλοι ἐκεῖνοι εἰς τὰς ὁδοὺς συνήγαγον πάντας ὅσους εὗρον πονηρούς τε καὶ ἀγαθούς καὶ ἐπλήσθη ὁ γάμος ἀνακειμένων

BCC ¹¹ Le roi entra pour voir ceux qui étaient à table et il aperçut là un homme qui n'était point revêtu d'un habit de noce ;

KJV ¹¹ And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

BCC ¹² et il lui dit : "ami, comment es-tu entré ici sans avoir un habit de noce ?" Et lui resta muet.

KJV ¹² And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

BCC ¹³ Alors le roi dit aux servants : " Liez-lui pieds et mains, et jetez-le dans les ténèbres extérieurs : là il y aura les pleurs et le grincement de dents.

KJV ¹³ Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

BCC ¹⁴ Car il y a beaucoup d'appelés, mais peu d'élus.

KJV ¹⁴ For many are called, but few are chosen.

BCC ¹⁵ Alors les Pharisiens s'en allèrent et tinrent conseil sur le moyen de le prendre en défaut dans ses paroles.

BCC ¹⁶ Et ils lui envoient leurs disciples, avec des Hérodiens, lui dire : "Maître, nous savons que vous êtes sincère et que vous enseignez la voie de Dieu et (toute) vérité, sans souci de personne, car vous ne regardez pas au visage des hommes.

KJV ¹⁶ And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

BCC ¹⁷ Dites-nous donc ce qu'il vous semble : est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César ?"

KJV ¹⁷ Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

BCC ²¹ De césar," lui dirent-ils. Alors il leur dit : " Rendez donc à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu."

KJV ²¹ They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

BCC ²⁴ "Maître, Moïse a dit : Si quelqu'un meurt sans avoir d'enfants, son frère épousera sa femme et suscitera une postérité à son frère.

KJV ²⁴ Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

BCC ²⁵ Or, il y avait parmi nous sept frères. Le premier se maria et mourut, et comme il n'avait pas de postérité, il laissa sa femme à son frère.

BCC ²⁹ Jésus leur répondit : "vous êtes dans l'erreur, ne comprenant ni les Écritures, ni la puissance de Dieu.

KJV ²⁹ Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

BCC ³⁰ Car, à la résurrection, on n'épouse pas et on n'est pas épousé ; mais on est comme des anges de Dieu dans le ciel.

KJV ³⁰ For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

BCC ³² Je suis le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob ? Dieu n'est pas Dieu des morts, mais des vivants."

KJV ³² I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
