¹ Comme Jésus, sorti du temple s'en allait, ses disciples s'approchèrent pour lui faire remarquer les constructions du temple. ² Prenant la parole, il leur dit : "vous voyez tout cela, n'est-ce pas ? Je vous le dis en vérité, il n'y sera pas laissé pierre sur pierre qui ne soit renversée. ³ Lorsqu'il se fut assis sur la montagne des Oliviers, ses disciples s'approchèrent de lui, à part, et dirent : "dites-nous quand ces choses arriveront, et quel sera le signe de votre avènement et de la fin du monde ?"

   ¹ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. ² And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. ³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
