BCC ⁵⁰ Jésus poussa de nouveau un grand cri et rendit l'esprit.

KJV ⁵⁰ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

BCC ⁵¹ Et voilà que le voile du sanctuaire se fendit en deux, du haut en bas, la terre trembla, les rochers se fendirent,

KJV ⁵¹ And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

BCC ⁵² les sépulcres s'ouvrirent et les corps de beaucoup de saints défunts ressuscitèrent.

KJV ⁵² And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

BCC ⁵³ Et, sortis des sépulcres, après sa résurrection, ils entrèrent dans la ville sainte et apparurent à beaucoup.

KJV ⁵³ And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

BCC ⁵⁴ Le centurion et ceux qui, avec lui, gardaient Jésus, voyant le tremblement de terre et ce qui se passait, furent saisis d'une grande frayeur et dirent : "vraiment, c'était le Fils de Dieu."

KJV ⁵⁴ Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

BCC ⁵⁵ Il y avait là plusieurs femmes qui regardaient à distance ; elles avaient suivi Jésus depuis la Galilée, pour le servir ;

KJV ⁵⁵ And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

BCC ⁵⁶ parmi elles étaient Marie la Magdaléenne, Marie mère de Jacques et de Joseph, et la mère des fils de Zébédée.

KJV ⁵⁶ Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.
