BAN ²⁸ Mais moi, je vous dis que quiconque regarde une femme pour la convoiter, a déjà commis adultère avec elle dans son coeur.

KJV ²⁸ But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

BAN ²⁹ Or si ton oeil droit te fait tomber, arrache-le et le jette loin de toi, car il vaut mieux pour toi qu'un de tes membres périsse et que tout ton corps ne soit pas jeté dans la géhenne.

KJV ²⁹ And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

BAN ³⁹ Mais moi, je vous dis de ne pas résister au méchant ; mais quiconque te frappe sur la joue droite, présente-lui aussi l'autre.

BAN ⁴⁰ Et à celui qui veut plaider contre toi, et prendre ta tunique, laisse-lui aussi le manteau.

BAN ⁴¹ Et quiconque te contraindra de faire un mille, fais-en deux avec lui.

BAN ⁴³ Vous avez entendu qu'il a été dit : Tu aimeras ton prochain, et tu haïras ton ennemi.

KJV ⁴³ Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

BAN ⁴⁴ Mais moi, je vous dis : Aimez vos ennemis et priez pour ceux qui vous persécutent ;

KJV ⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

BAN ⁴⁵ afin que vous soyez fils de votre Père qui est dans les cieux ; car il fait lever son soleil sur les méchants et sur les bons, et il fait pleuvoir sur les justes et sur les injustes.

KJV ⁴⁵ That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

BAN ⁴⁶ Car si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quelle récompense en aurez-vous ? les péagers aussi ne le font-ils pas ?

KJV ⁴⁶ For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

BAN ⁴⁷ Et si vous ne faites accueil qu'à vos frères, que faites-vous d'extraordinaire ? Les païens aussi ne le font-ils pas ?

KJV ⁴⁷ And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

BAN ⁴⁸ Soyez donc parfaits, comme votre Père céleste est parfait.

KJV ⁴⁸ Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
