BCC ² on entend le bruit du fouet, le bruit du fracas des roues, le galop des chevaux, les chariots qui bondissent !

KJV ² The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the pransing horses, and of the jumping chariots.

WLC ² ק֣וֹל שׁ֔וֹט וְק֖וֹל רַ֣עַשׁ אוֹפָ֑ן וְס֣וּס דֹּהֵ֔ר וּמֶרְכָּבָ֖ה מְרַקֵּדָֽה׃

BCC ³ Cavaliers qui s'élancent, épée flamboyante, lance fulgurante ! Multitude de blessés, masse de morts, des cadavres à l'infini... On trébuche sur leurs cadavres.

KJV ³ The horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:

WLC ³ פָּרָ֣שׁ מַעֲלֶ֗ה וְלַ֤הַב חֶ֙רֶב֙ וּבְרַ֣ק חֲנִ֔ית וְרֹ֥ב חָלָ֖ל וְכֹ֣בֶד פָּ֑גֶר וְאֵ֥ין קֵ֙צֶה֙ לַגְּוִיָּ֔ה בִּגְוִיָּתָֽם׃

BCC ⁴ C'est à cause des nombreuses prostitutions de la prostituée, pleine d'attraits, habile aux enchantements, qui vendait les nations par ses prostitutions, et les peuples par ses enchantements.

KJV ⁴ Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

WLC ⁴ מֵרֹב֙ זְנוּנֵ֣י זוֹנָ֔ה ט֥וֹבַת חֵ֖ן בַּעֲלַ֣ת כְּשָׁפִ֑ים הַמֹּכֶ֤רֶת גּוֹיִם֙ בִּזְנוּנֶ֔יהָ וּמִשְׁפָּח֖וֹת בִּכְשָׁפֶֽיהָ׃

BCC ⁵ Me voici contre toi ! ‒ oracle de Yahweh des armées ; je vais relever les pans de ta robe jusque sur ton visage, je montrerai aux nations ta nudité, et ta honte aux royaumes

KJV ⁵ Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

BCC ⁶ Je jetterai sur toi des ordures et je t'avilirai, et je te donnerai en spectacle.

KJV ⁶ And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.

WLC ⁶ וְהִשְׁלַכְתִּ֥י עָלַ֛יִךְ שִׁקֻּצִ֖ים וְנִבַּלְתִּ֑יךְ וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךְ כְּרֹֽאִי׃

BCC ⁷ Quiconque te verra, fuira loin de toi, et dira : "Ninive est détruite !" Qui la plaindra ? Où te chercherai-je des consolateurs ?

KJV ⁷ And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon thee shall flee from thee, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?

WLC ⁷ וְהָיָ֤ה כָל־ רֹאַ֙יִךְ֙ יִדּ֣וֹד מִמֵּ֔ךְ וְאָמַר֙ שָׁדְּדָ֣ה נִֽינְוֵ֔ה מִ֖י יָנ֣וּד לָ֑הּ מֵאַ֛יִן אֲבַקֵּ֥שׁ מְנַחֲמִ֖ים לָֽךְ׃
