BCC ² Éphraïm se repaît de vent, et il court après le vent d'orient. Tout le jour il accumule le mensonge et la violence ; ils concluent alliance avec Assur, et l'huile est transportée en Égypte.

KJV ² The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.

S21 ² Ephraïm se nourrit de vent et poursuit le vent d'est;
chaque jour il multiplie le mensonge et la violence.
Il fait alliance avec l'Assyrie
et on porte de l'huile en Egypte.

BCC ³ Yahweh a aussi procès avec Juda ; il va châtier Jacob selon ses voies, il lui rendra selon ses oeuvres.

et il interviendra contre Jacob en fonction de sa conduite,
il lui paiera un salaire conforme à ses agissements.

Jacob l'avait trouvé à Béthel,

KJV ⁶ Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on thy God continually.
