   ¹ Paul, prisonnier de Jésus-Christ, et Timothée, notre frère, à Philémon notre bien-aimé et notre compagnon d'oeuvre, ² et à Apphia notre soeur, et à Archippe, notre compagnon d'armes, et à l'Eglise qui est dans ta maison : ³ La grâce et la paix vous soient données de la part de Dieu, notre Père, et du Seigneur Jésus-Christ !
   ⁴ Je rends sans cesse grâces à mon Dieu, faisant mention de toi dans mes prières ; ⁵ en apprenant la foi que tu as au Seigneur Jésus, et ta charité envers tous les saints ; ⁶ afin que la communion de ta foi soit efficace dans la connaissance de tout bien qui est en nous, pour Jésus-Christ. ⁷ Car nous avons une grande joie et une grande consolation dans ta charité, parce que les entrailles des saints ont été réjouies par toi, frère.

   ¹ Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer, ² And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house: ³ Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁴ I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, ⁵ Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; ⁶ That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. ⁷ For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
